Very little information in the place, access to the top of the hill is only by chairlift, the cost is excessive for an 8-minute ride. Getting to the Centinela stone is easy, from where the chairlifts leave along a small path just a few meters away, with a nice panoramic view. There is a complex with activities, we went at 5 pm in the summer and it was not operating. There's not much more to add...

Almost everything in Tandil, it is 4 to 10km, it depends on where you stay....this is on the outskirts and there is a nice walk nearby.
This walk is very good and has a medium difficulty, beware of rainy days and elderly people.
We wanted to do the chairlift, but out of season (summer and winter holidays) it is only on weekends, a shame.
It takes a maximum of 1 hour and there are nice bars at the foot, where you can eat some snacks and enjoy the landscape.

For those who have never been, this attraction is located in the same place as the Aerosillas (I say this because the GPS gave me two options)
You have to go up a small hill by car and there you arrive at the Aerosillas, there is not much signage but it is a road to the left of the Aerosillas, the journey is a little difficult, it is not prepared for everyone
The attraction is great, it really looks like a rock always about to fall
I recommend it, it is better than moving stone

It is a very beautiful place, with spectacular views, pines, silence. And the restaurant is very cozy and the food delicious.
We went several times, I'm sure we'll be back. Always a lunch is in this place.

I went to Tandil on holidays last february with my family. If you really enjoy being sorrounded by nature this is a perfect place.
There are a lot of people doing activities like walking and running. Also there are many places to visit like " El cerro Centinela", "La piedra movediza" or " el picapiedrero" full of lovely landscapes and activities such as climbing, tirolesa and other adventures.
In the central área of the city there are places where you should try "picadas", a tipical food there.
Lovely place, and nice people!

We went to the Centinela, crossing through part of a forest, with an easy climb, to see solitary stone sticking up overlooking
the town as a watchman! The views are great and there is a place for refreshments and souvenirs. They were also building a zip -line to cross a small valley ...should be fun once it is finished!

What an amazing place. The Centinela is balanced but looks as if it could topple off its base at a touch! Wonderful walks and terrific views. Plenty of parking and a couple of places to eat and clean toilets
