The first time I went to this place I was very young, an immediately became fascinated with it, a tiny city run by kids, it was my dream come true. I remember I actually started understanding most of the government processes from that visit. It was a great place for kids, they could learn as interact with each other, there... More

It´s a really nice place to visit, specially if you have kids. you will find a whole city prepared for kids, and at kd size. Buildings, squares a church, the City Hall and a couple of Museums. You can also go for a trip o a small train or in a boat, over the lake. There is plenty of places... More

Not a really a tourist stop, though I took some Canadian friends while they started here and they liked it. It is said that Walt Disney was inspired here to create his amazing parks. There are replicas of government buildings and other interesting places to see. There are rides for children, like small roller coasters too. There is a small... More

great place to take the kids! we also visited during Expo Flor with beautiful floral displays and lots of vendors. Fun buildings for the kids to explore (small amusement rides, petting zoo, playgrounds), and beautiful setting.

So if you are only in Buenos Aires for a week vacation, then I definitely would not put La Repu on your shortlist. To me, it isn't a must see spot when the city (and country) have so much else to offer. It's no Disney. However, if you are in Buenos Aires for an extended stay and have kids, it... More

We spent a very pleasant afternoon at Republica de los Niño's. Our daughter loved La Granja (the farm) where you can feed the goats, sheep, and llamas. There are also other animals including deer, rabbits, ponies, and pigs. You can also make bread which my daughter loved to do. There are also miniature buildings (of famous ones in Argentina) which... More

Not far from La Plata lies this miniature children's town, with all buildings and other structures scaled down to 'child size'. Edifices include a 'Taj Mahal', a fairy-tale castle, and a range of others that appear to be based variously on central or eastern European models. This 'children's republic' also boasts an airport, farm, service station, train service with various... More

This is the original "model" for Disneyland & Disneyworld. Miniature buildings, rides, plays are all part of this wonderful experience. If your in the "neighborhood" go!
