We did the full day tour. Our guide Julien was excellent. As we pedalled through BA we stopped at the major attractions and were given the history and background to the development of the city over the past 300 years. The tour was over 8 hours but did not feel that long. It was safe. 80 % of the cycle was on cycle lanes. Our lunch stop on the river was gorgeous. We covered a lot in a most relaxed way. We would highly recommend Biker Street for a bike tour in BA

Kind regards

We decided to rent our bikes through the Biker Street company because we had done gone on the on/off bus the day before. They proceeded to show us all the best places to see and gave us detailed directions ,as well as, an app to get around the city. They were so helpful and we had a great time.

I took the full day tour of BA and was very impressed by the commitment and passion shown by our guide . The route visited most of the major sites of a surprisingly bike friendly city . I would highly recommend both the tour and the company Biker Street .

We took this tour on a beautiful day in January. There were only 3 of us, so it felt like a private tour. We really enjoyed seeing the city and getting exercise. We do wish there had been more “guiding” involved. I think it would have been a better experience if the guide had used the time at stoplights to explain what we would be riding past.

Thanks for your review, Laura. We're glad to learn you liked touring in one of our small groups. We offer tours with maximum 6 people so that everyone feels they have the chance to interact. As travelers ourselves, we love asking questions when we are abroad, to get a real grasp of what living in a different city/country is like; and, as guides, we also love sharing our local point of view. That's why we've selected specific spots where we can stop and take the time to comment on the history, culture, or any curious fact regarding the places we're visiting and Buenos Aires City in general. We wouldn't like to just name facts, dates and events, we want to offer dynamic tours in which we tell a story. Therefore, when we ride from one point to another one, we usually do not explain everything that we've seen, as it would take too long or would take us time from commenting on more interesting subjects than just list places / things that are around. Of course, in case anyone has a particular question regarding things that are around, all questions are always welcome. And it's true, traffic lights usually give us the chance to get those questions asked and talk about that for a moment. We understand that sometimes the people that tour with us may have particular interests and that's something we love about touring. No tour is exactly the same as the previous ones. That being said, we'd like to make clear that during our routes we stop many many times because of traffic lights, some of them are really short (just a few seconds) and some of them are longer. If we stopped at every traffic light to say what's around, that would also open a new conversation and we may risk of loosing our chance to cross the streets. And of course, the last person in the line may not even hear what we're saying at the front. Unless we see something in particular, we usually just wait for the traffic lights to change. Always with the idea of offering a dynamic touring experience. We're sorry to hear you may have had questions you didn't ask, we would have loved to answer them. Last but not least, we must not forget that we also dedicate specific time to talk about anything that could be interesting to any traveler in our groups when we stop for lunch, or for our traditional "mate tasting". We think about those moments as free conversation time, to satisfy curiosity for Buenos Aires / Argentina. In any case, we're happy to read your review, we just wanted to answer to your suggestion, as we always take suggestions seriously. It's thanks to our former guests comments that we keep improving our work, always learning something new. Best regards!

We had a great day riding around Buenos Aires with Julián. We chose the full-day tour, as we realized before coming that a bike was a great way to see this very large city. We loved the fact that the group size was small (there were only 4 of us) so we didn’t have to struggle to keep a large group together. And Julián got to know each of us individually and we were able to ask and get answers to all sorts of questions about the city, the country, the culture, and more. He was even able to satisfy my curiosity about the rocks added to a sculpture on Plaza de Mayo (in honor of Covid victims, which no place online was able to tell me).

Be aware that the full day is a somewhat demanding tour - although BA is relatively flat and the rising was mostly easy with plenty of stops to look around and learn more, we covered more than 20 miles. As someone who doesn’t bike often but is in decent shape I was able to complete the ride without issues, though.

My husband is more of a foodie than I am, but even I appreciated the tastes of local culture, especially the alfajor and the most amazing empanada I’ve had, either here or in Montevideo.

Overall an experience I definitely recommend. We like to do bike tours in new cities, and this was one of the better ones, with good coverage of both big sites and more local flavor, and I loved the small group size.

What a great day, thank you Carlos for taking us on a tour. We could not have wanted more from the tour. The mate lesson and lunch by the river were tops. All the areas we visited were great, so much diversity in the city. And on top of everything we really enjoyed the facts and stories you shared with us.

I really recommend anyone interested in a bike tour to choose Biker Street Buenos Aires. The bikes are great and well maintained and the tour is very professionally designed to cover the most interesting places in the city.

Thank you Carlos and all the best

I was the only customer on my trip date, and thankfully it wasn’t cancelled. My guide first question was what I’ve already seen to better help plan our trip around the city. Considering it takes 30-45 minutes to get anywhere in Buenos Aires by Uber or taxi, I saw more of the city on my bike tour than any other way to experience it. Gave me a great grounding for where and what I would like to revisit at a later date.

Thank you for your review 🥰 we don’t have a minimum of participants to run a experience 🤓 and we totally agree, by bike is the best / efficient way to explore the city 🚴🏻‍♀️

This was a well organized and executed Bike Tour of the central area of Buenos Aires that we really enjoyed. Our guide,Carlos, was great. Very informative on Argentina history and all the areas we visited. He introduced us to Mata tea and safely biked us through the city. Just because we asked so many questions and stopped for so many sights, the tour ran a little longer than offered, but Carlos graciously completes the tour without rushing us to finish on time. The equipment was in great condition and very comfortable to ride around, even on the cobblestone streets.

If there was any issue at all, it was that getting to the starting point was not without its difficulties, even though they sent us a link for Apple Maps. We were looking for a store front or row of bikes and it turned out the location was a parking garage. A little more advanced knowledge would have helped. But that was the ONLY negative and we were probably as much at fault.

¡Hola! Thank you for your review! We’re happy to read that you enjoyed the experience this much. It’s rewarding for us that you appreciated our efforts. We’d just like to comment that we finished a bit later, after we agreed that this wouldn’t have been a problem for you. And because we had the availability to finish later. Furthermore, we wanted you to enjoy the full experience, even though we started a bit late because of your late arrival. That being said, we’d like to kindly ask you to double check all messages you’ve received after confirming your booking, and before departure time. They all state that our meeting point is a parking lot. We always send the exact address in Spanish so that there are no possible confusions. Furthermore, we know that the GPS and the map apps may not be compatible, so we send a Google Maps link, an Apple Maps link and the pictures of the facade of the meeting point and the sign that we always place there before departures. In fact, you passed by the meeting point and some of the members of your group said the meeting point was there, but for some reason you ended up 2 blocks away, most likely following a wrong map location. We believe that sometimes it’s better to follow your old school compass and look for addresses instead of trusting blindly in technology. Anyway, we’re happy now knowing that you finally arrived and that we all enjoyed the ride. We know that it’s not easy to move around in a new city, especially a new city as big as BA. All the best for you!

Great bike tour. Our family enjoyed seeing the local barrios and learning some of the history of this fabulous city. The chosen route was east to navigate and smooth for our whole family. Thanks again for the great afternoon!

The two of us took a one day tour with Biker Street first week of October.
It was early in the season and not very busy, so we had the privilege to get a “privat” tour.
However, they run all their tours in small groups which is much better than many of the other companies who pack 10 or more people in one group.
The tour lasted around 7 hours and you get too see pretty much everything of interest in BA.
Julian is very knowledgeable and super nice. He answered every question and had a lot of interesting information to share. Mate testing (a very distinct taste…..and a lunch stop with a typical Argentinian Choripan included.
Biker Street is a smaller set up and the owners are the ones running the tours themselves.
Don’t look any further, just go with them.
