Since 1867 this big old house has been established in the historic center of the City. In 1920 it was founded as a bar and then, in 1992 restored; it is now considered by the Museum of the City of Buenos Aires as a “Living Evidence of the Civic Memory” and as a “Place of Tourist Interest” by the National Tourist Secretary.

This venue is a tourist magnet. For one price, they provide mediocre food, plenty of cheap wine, and tango entertainment. Tourist buses bring foreigners (like us) to El Querandi, which consists of a large L-shaped venue with long tables all facing the stage. There are...More

This was the highlight of our short stay in Buenos Aires. We were collected from our hotel and then ushered in, to what seemed to be a crowded room. We were very fortunate to be allocated a table in a prime location at the corner...More

I just went for the show alone at $40. The second half was particularly good, though I felt it was an expensive amount of money for a relatively short show. My friends found other good shows for less elsewhere, so it might be worth looking...More

The food was nice, although the wine was not. I would choose a better one. The show tries to map the history of tango. It is interesting but lacks a unity, I think. The girls are beautiful. The dancers are much better than the singers...More

We went there to see a tango show on the recommendation of our guide. The food was on par with a hospital meal. It was one the worst meals I have ever had. It was $110/person which included the horrible meal and equally bad wine....More

We went there just for the show, that costs 45$ per person (100 dollars and something with dinner) The dancers and the musicians are good, the show is nice, but nothing that you really need to see. The stage has a shape that just a...More

El Querandi is a great cabaret/dining experience. We had a gret night out here. Good steaks , with fine Malbec with the terrific show highlighting the Tango show. The tickets can include pick up from the hotels and a return trip back

My wife and I both had a wonderful evening. I myself don't really like shows like that usually but I enjoyed every seconds of it! The live music was on point and the solo very impressive. The dancers were beautiful and all around impressive! It...More

When we got these tickets they told us to make sure to arrive at 8:30 pm. Big mistake since the food was horrible and the whole place just looked super dated. We were done with our underwhelming meal by 9:15 PM and had to sit...More

We are on B.A for two nights and the hotel recommended we went there for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious. The main meals were very large. Recommend to share as even the entre sizes are huge. They also have a Tago show at night.

As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires,
Montserrat is defined by the historical events that

this connection to history: countless public
demonstrations have passed through this square, going
