In some ways, more impressively, is Malambo’s collection of fine whisky, other exquisite spirits and liqueurs,. He is always happy to listen and offer advice. For example, in my visit, he skilfully compared and contrasted the rugged, peaty, smoky tang of Laphroaig malt whisky from the Isle of Islay, against the much smoother floral flavour of a Glenmorangie from the Highland region of Scotland. These gent's know everything there is to know about wines and winemaking in Argentina. They stock the shop with an excellent selection of vintages for every type of wine drinker - new to somm. Highly recommend this place, why not bring 20 bottles back home or stock your Air BnB or hotel with a few during your trip.…

We were surprised that this wine shop was rather small. They had some good wines but most were rather expensive. If possible, go to a winery in Argentina for better choices and a lot cheaper.

All in the beautiful neighbourhood of Palermo ... wonderful advice. Loved our sparkler recommendation along with Malambo purchased local olives, a spicy cured meat AND we added our Canadian grand champion Grand Trunk cheese. - Q-Trip: We pack bubble wrap and tape ... or Malambo will pack for you. - Q-Trip: Buy one or two for the suitcase BECAUSE the duty free will never ever have the top select choices the local wine shops stock. Yes you can buy cured meats at home BUT why not something special all vacuum packed from BA for that special Christmas party. …

Malambo is the place to visit if you’re looking for wine, deli or spirits in Buenos Aires. Alejandro, the owner, is really friendly and helps you decide what to get if you’re unsure. He has an enormous collection of wine, so there’s something for every budget.
