Returned from Argentina four weeks ago where my wife and I had four days in Buenos Aires, during which we had booked a trip to an estancia, EL Ombu de Areco with a family run local company called My Buones Aires Experience which we had seen advertising online.
We were contacted beforehand to confirm uplift time from our centrally located hotel in BA by Guilliermo, the trip was excellent, Guillermo spoke fluent English, and was a most pleasant and knowledgable guide, later in the day he organised at short notice a trip for later that night to a Tango show, he duly picked us up at our hotel, took us across the city to the show, took us inside, made sure we had an excellent view from our seats, then waited outside the Theatre for Approx. 2 hours in his car to take us back to the hotel. The following day his granddaughter took us from the hotel to the international airport to catch our flight back to the UK.
All in all this was excellent service and would recommend GUILLERMO and his family to anyone travelling to Buenos Aires.

Thanks, Guillermo, for taking my group of students on an afternoon private tour of Buenos Aires. While BA is a large city, Guillermo was sure to show us the highlights of the city while he safely drove us around. We stopped at major sites like La Casa Rosada, Puerto Madero, and La Boca to take a tour of each place. He spoke great English, had a good sense of humor, and knew a good amount of history of the beautiful city. I recommend this to anyone wanting to get a thorough, quick look at a large and beautiful city.

My adult son and I took the above tour - through your company Viator.
We had an extensive and very informative tour of B.A. On the way there and back. A great Delta boat ride with good information on the housing and life style of Delta living. Our guide Patrick was excellent and very flexible would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone interested in this tour. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything possible.

I contracted with this group for a private English speaking driver to take us to San Antonio de Areco followed by a visit to the Estancia El Ombu. The driver did not speak English and we didn’t stop in San Antonio so we had to kill an hour before the estancia started. After getting an interpreter the driver did offer to take us in to town after the estancia. At that point it was 4:30 and we had a 2 hour drive ahead of us so we passed.
If you’re looking to hire an English speaking driver you should keep looking.
Note that this group also maintains (or used to maintain) a Facebook page and a website under the name of My Buenos Aires Experience.

We spent the day in a beautiful estancia. We ride horses and had a delicious asado
Then We pop by a cozy old little town, full of silver krafts.
Highly recomended!

The highlight of our trip to Buenos Aires was spending two days at the Estancia La Bamba de Areco. On our one-hour-and-a-half journey, William showed great knowledge of the Argentine Pampa and took us to the nearby town of San Antonio de Areco. La Bamba combines the tradition of its centenary architecture with the maximum comfort and top quality service provided by the staff. We went horse-riding accompanied by Eduardo and later on, Federico showed us the secrets of ‘empanadas criollas’ and the ‘asado’, a real ‘masterchef’! Before the farewell tea, we witnessed some native horse whispering and a show of gaucho dexterity. We really spent some wonderful days, assisted by experts. Thank you very Much!
