Thanks Nacho and Charlene for this great day! It was perfect in every respect. Everyone in the club welcomed me as if I belonged. Nacho is a great guide and teacher, and the horses are well ridden and cared for. Charlene looked after me in the booking phase – five stars to the entire experience!

This experience was so much fun I’m still reliving the memories a year later! Nacho is an excellent tour guide. He picked us up from our cruise ship, drove us to/from the polo grounds, matched us with horses compatible with our riding experience and taught us how to play polo (which is harder than it looks). He was very attentive, making sure we each achieved a basic understanding of the sport and a level of achievement before returning to the stables to dismount. Our only disappointment was that the promised Asado was unavailable the day we took our lesson (unfortunate for us since we’d passed up an earlier opportunity to try it assuming it would be part of our Polo Break experience). On the other hand and to our delight, Nacho took a small detour on the way back to our cruise ship and drove by Recoleta Cemetery, a spot we’d tried to visit that morning but ran out of time. All in all, we had a wonderful afternoon and, now, have bragging rights for learning to play polo in Argentina! As for Nacho, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer, more attentive person to introduce us to the sport.

I had so much fun taking a polo lesson with polo break! The communication was very professional and easy. Nacho picked me up at my AirBnb and drove me to the stables. The grounds are very impressive, with multiple polo fields, a dressage area, a jumping area and a track for horses pulling carts. Nacho explained the rules of polo and the basics of holding and swinging the mallot before we got on the horses. The lesson was tailored to my riding ability, and would be appropriate for anyone, from someone who has never been on a horse, to someone with more advanced horsemanship skills. The horse was very calm and patient, obviously trained to tacke care of me (e.g. when I walked up to the ball, the horse would stop and wait for the multiple times it took me to make actually hit the ball, before I would tell her to move forward again). It was so much fun and I would recommend polo break to anyone who wants a unique experience in Buenos Aires!

It is one thing to buy a ticket for the Abierto and see a match and it is a completely different one to have the possibility of going behind the scenes of argentine Polo with Nacho... He will explain you the rules of the game get you to know the story of the sport being real fun all the way through the experience... Super suggested

Polo Break came recommended through a friend in Buenos Aires. Nacho picked us up and took us to a traditional polo club just outside the city. Although we were mixed ability riders, Nacho knew how well to handle us all very well! Afterwards, we had lunch at the club and saw a polo match in the afternoon. A great polo experience we thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting the city for a few days.
