We stayed in Palermo and went running in the big park each morning. Really enjoyed the paths, gardens and calmness it offered. Even if you don't run going one afternoon to see them and observe locals would be fun.

Solid spot to walk around and relax. Pretty. I did not find anything life changing or revolutionary here, but still solid. I would recommend if in the area, but I would not say that it is an absolute must-do.

You can run, walk, ride your bike, or skate, or rent a boat and row along the lake. Just be careful with the sun.

B.A. golf courses (2 Replies)
I will be in B.A. for about a week in October. I will not have a car but would like to play a few rounds of golf. Questions are: 1. What courses can I get to by taxi without costing a lot of money? 2. Do the courses like Lagos de Palermo Golf Club rent clubs? 3. If I bring old clubs can I sell them easily in B.A.? Thank you.

The Palermo Golf and Club Jurado are the only courses near downtown. Between The city limits you will find only dirving courses. There are much nicer golf courses but outside the city. I tthink that you can rent clubs in the pro shops.
