The area
Neighborhood: Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

The part is located in the heart of Buenos Aires and is very accessible to just about anyone. It is a public park and therefore admission is free. The lake is just stunning and is very sizeable. You can take pedalos out on the lake or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet from the busy city.

Just like Bosques de Palermo, this helps you escape from the concrete jungle and enjoy some time with the nature.

We hired a pedal boat for an hour. 170 pesos for a 4 man boat.
The children really enJoyed it. You Can got all The way round To The other end of the Park And under 2 bridges!!
Also it was nice To see The duck nests And babies on The Island.
The rose garden would have looked amazing in season!!

This place is so beautiful and glamorous. Honestly I wasn't expecting so much beauty. I would recomend to come here on a Saturday afternoon. If you can rent a small pedal boat, is super fun.

We have been going over to the Lagos many days this winter. We have had delightful times paddling around in the relatively inexpensive paddle boats, feeding eager geese and just delighting in the landscape and openness. For an American, the liberty of being around lakes without railings and pretty flimsy but fun boats feels very free. I would go early in morning (10am +) to avoid crowds on days with nice weather.

My Fiance and I had a lovely afternoon here, chilling and playing silly little games! The place is so peaceful, I nice getaway from the manic streets of Buenos Aires. We sat here for hours, just doing nothing.

If you are in Buenos Aires, and you like to go running, walking or you simply like to sit and see a lake, Lagos de Palermo is a great place to visit.

ALthough it´s located in the city, you´ll have the feeling of being isolated from the smog, noise of the city.
It´s great to walk or run early in the morning or in the afternoon.

You can all put this spot on your to do list.
Best!
