About
My name is John Boyle I am a bilingual private driver in Buenos Aires. I do city tours which are about five hours long and involve a mixture of walking and driving around all the major sights of Buenos Aires. We also offer luggage storage for tourists that don't wish to carry all their luggage with them while they travel around our beautiful country. I also do airport transfers from airport to hotel or between airports.

Howard was an absolutely fantastic guide all over Buenos Aires! Not only did he have a route planned out with a ton of information and insight about Baires, but he also let us customize experience to make sure we got to go and see everything we wanted. He was very knowledgeable and exceedingly accommodating. Highly recommend this tour with Howard.

John Boyle was waiting for us as we arrived EZE after our overnight flight from Atlanta.
He took us to our hotel and waited while we freshened up and then took us on a delightful and wide ranging tour of Buenos Aires. John is a Brit expat so language was no problem. The tour allowed us to orient ourselves in BA and then return to the places that most interested us over the next few days. John also provided transfer upon our return trip from Iguazu Falls (a must see). John's rates are extremely reasonable and having transportation arranged when you arrive is the only way to go. BA is a huge city.
Having John there to guide you will make your trip much easier and fun.

Howard did a great job of showing us many key sites in B.A. in a short period. We saw so much and learned a lot. A real highlight was seeing the beautiful memorial on the river, a place some other tours don't go to. Thanks Howard!

Picked up on time as arranged by Howard one of the English drivers. We didn't know what to expect but the tour showed us all the highlights of Buenos Aires at the end of our 14 night cruise around South America before our flight departure. If you have time to spare in BA this is a must.

John picked up our extra luggage and held it while we were on a cruise. From our first communication, John put our minds at ease. He responded promptly to our emails and was pleasant on the phone. He arrived promptly as agreed upon. On our return, Howard picked us up at the national airport to take us to the international airport. As promised, he brought the bags we had stored. The ride between airports felt like a ride with a friend. Howard told us about his city, pointed out sights along the way and talked about current events. Don't hesitate to deal with these honest, dependable people.

We were so happy with John as our guide. Extremely knowledgeable and charming. I recommend him most enthusiastically.
We learned about the culture and the history of Argentina. The visit to the Parque de la Memoria taught us about the awful period of the Dirty War. The Memorial is a somber reminder of the truly awful things that continue to happen in our world. It is a memory that I will never forget.
The cemetery visit was fascinating. We learned so much about Evita and the Peronists. Certainly the most over the top mausoleums imaginable.
John's ability to explain the local politics and history is superb. A five star experience.

Used BA Taxis twice whilst I had stopovers and airport transfers. On arrival Howard was prompt and polite. Took me to my hotel and was there in the morning for transfer to other airport. Made things very easy. Upon my return I had booked John for a city tour whilst on a 12hr stopover. Although there was some confusion about which terminal to pick me up from which caused a little worry, thankfully John was quick to respond to emails and we were on our way. Johns commentary and knowledge of the city sights were excellent. I would have appreciated an offer of a discount since our tour was cut short due to the earlier mix up as we were unable to visit La Boca. Nonetheless I recommend this service to any non Spanish speaking visitor with little time in BA as a safe, friendly and informative. Thank you BA Taxis!

I received a warm and friendly welcome at the airport from John Boyle. His driving is safe and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Buenos Aires. It was interesting to learn that he will adjust his tour according to his clients desires (main sites, Jewish interests, etc). John's tour was excellent! I learned much about the history and interesting facts. I feel I saw the important places as listed in 3RedDoxies review - I did get to La Boca and Puerto Madero on my tour. Frequently we stopped to walk to get a better look and enjoy the site. John and his wife Clara went above and beyond when they helped me with a trip to Iguazu Falls. They did not ask for any payment for their time and provided me with all the papers for the trip! I would highly recommend hiring John for airport transport and city tour!!

I met John and Howard while traveling with my aunt for our yearly "big trip" and I am so incredibly thankful that they were the ones that we found to tour us around. Both gentlemen have a very extensive knowledge of Buenos Aires, its many wonderful attractions, history, food and culture. This is perfectly complimented by the fact that they are both lovely conversationalists and equally excellent tour guides. Thanks to John and Howard we were able to experience everything that we had hoped to do and see from watching a tango show to riding a catamaran along the delta to touring the many historic locations in the city and picturesque San Isidro. Thank you so much!

Very inexpensive way to get to city center. Be aware cabs are small. We barely got the 4 of us in with luggage. We ended up "renting" a cabbie all day for $150+tip. He did nice job showing us the city
