An architecturally beautiful shopping mall, located on Avenida Florida, with international and Argentinian upscale designer stores, and those offering high-end argentine gaucho and other type of leather and higher end souvenirs. This week we purchased a nice leather Argentine gaucho hat for US$90. Galerias Pacifico also has a food court and cafes offering drinks and pastries. Argentinians love their pastries,... More

We went there in Christmas time so all the building was decorated with a huge pine tree in the center of the main hall. The architecture itself is already impressive and carefully decorated. There are good and cheap restaurants there. Ideal in rainy days or if you want to have a good value-for-money food. Don't miss the Dulce de Leche... More

Its a very clean and well kept building with outstanding architecture. Many shops in different levels, a food court and a cozy caffe in the lower level. A nice place to visit if you decide to walk calle Florida from Plaza San Martin to Galeria Pacifico.

This mall is a nice visit with 95% argentine stores. It is clean and well kept and has a bunch of different levels of food and snacks. It is organized well and people are very friendly. Worth the trip. Only gave it 4 dots as they lack some more prestigious international stores.

The inside of this building is very ornate. Beautiful ceilings and floors and very glitzy decor. There are a number of very high end shops and an equal number of high street stores. A nice shopping mall but not somewhere I would go out of my way to visit again

Upstairs and ground floor had huge range of upmarket clothing Brands, luggage etc, etc. Downstairs was a large selection of franchised fast food outlets and a few shops, including wine shop. Pleasant temperature, and clean and well maintained. Excellent.

Galerias is a very complete mall. It is expensive, but you find a lot of American brands as local as well. Good location to go shopping. Centric area and close to Florida street.

Very fancy mall that isn't overly large. It has some well known stores and a nice food court on the lower level.

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
