Coming from Asia where most malls are new modern buildings, Pacifico's ornate interior frescoes are quite a change from the usual ones we see in Asia as it has such a nice heritage feel to it. The shopping, however, is nothing to shout about as compared to Asia where I'm from, the prices are higher and the offerings are really... More

Worth a visit if you are in BA. The decor itself is worth a visit alone. Shops are mostly high end shops and prices are not really competitive compared to other countries so in terms of shopping to take back home not much on offer. But in the basement there are some nice Asado outlets that serve great steaks for... More

It seems like you are in Europe, there are good brands albeit some international brands missing. But hey you are in Argentina!

This is the same mall you'll find in most cities and upscale suburbs. Prices range from high to exorbitant. Think of the most expensive mall store near you, then add 15%. If you want to spend a lot on clothes or leather goods, there are many other options in more pleasant, less crowded settings.

Very well laid out shopping mall. Good array of shops with some very high quality clothe shops on offer. Food court had an excellent range and was good value. Would recommend the leather shop on the first floor. Great service and even better goods.

The place is beautiful and really well kept. Lots of high end stores. I would not buy stuff there as it is pretty overpriced. It's a lovely place to sit at the nice food court and people watch.

The mall has been built within a well preserved, stately old building with a vaulted glass roof and ornate columns. The interior of the central dome has been painted with murals but it felt like a Las Vegas style imitation of the real thing so I wouldn't go there just to see that. The mall has a food court and... We walked Florida Street and didn't find any good shopping until we got to Galerias Pacifico. I'm not really a mall shopper when I am on my travel adventures, but we did walk through it and enjoyed how lovely it was. If you are in central Buenos Aires and you are a mall shopper, this is the place for you!

An architecturally beautiful shopping mall, located on Avenida Florida, with international and Argentinian upscale designer stores, and those offering high-end argentine gaucho and other type of leather and higher end souvenirs. This week we purchased a nice leather Argentine gaucho hat for US$90. Galerias Pacifico also has a food court and cafes offering drinks and pastries. Argentinians love their pastries,... More

We went there in Christmas time so all the building was decorated with a huge pine tree in the center of the main hall. The architecture itself is already impressive and carefully decorated. There are good and cheap restaurants there. Ideal in rainy days or if you want to have a good value-for-money food. Don't miss the Dulce de Leche... More

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
