The food was really not good, so much so that we left a lot on our plates. The venue was about 75% empty and the energy from the musicians was low. Definitely a tourist trap. The dancers were good, but everything surrounding the dance (constant marketing, selling of paraphernalia, photos) really took away from their quality. And they charge A... More

We went last night to watch the show only (no food) and even though it was nice, it was EXTREMELY expensive for what you get. The price you pay ($195 for two) it's honestly not worth the show. I have to applaud the excellent orchestra, but still, NOT WORTH all that money. The dancers were good too, but again you... More

Without a comparison, it's difficult to know if there are better tango dinner-shows in Buenos Aires, but Esquina Carlos Gardel produces a first-rate performance without question. Even on a slow Tuesday night when the house was less than half full, that didn't impact the energy and professionalism that the dancers and singers and stage orchestra put into their numbers. The... Excellent tango show- an hour and a half of dancing, music and singing. We didn't eat there because we heard the food wasn't great. Did have some dessert and wine which were mediocre. Our waitress seemed incredibly disinterested in serving us until it was time for us to pay and tip her - at which point she wouldn't leave us... More

We paid $560.00 for the VIP Tango Show and Dinner. The starters for dinner were very good however the main course and desert were both mediocre. While trying to eat our main course we were taken away to have our photos taken thus ensuring our main course was colder than when it arrived. The photos were $20.00 each should you... More

The venue offers a great show in a wonderful setting with a marvelous group of talented Tango dancers with friendly and accommodating staff. The food is sub-par, so have supper elsewhere and come here to experience a bit of the history and tradition of Tango in Buenos Aires. My only disappoint with the dancing was that they did not dance... More

If you are coming here, be warned, people really dress up to come here. We were not aware of this before we came so felt a little underdressed! The meal was fantastic, as was the show. If you love Latin American dance like I do, this is a must see!

The show is amazing and the place is gorgeous. It was beyond my expectations. They have people taking pics and selling it printed for 20 USD each. I wish they offered an option to buy them digital. I would have shared in my social media for sure.
