The area

Address
Neighborhood: San Nicolás
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.

Paseo La Plaza is a cultural and commercial complex in the San Nicolás section of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was enjoyable walking around this area. Lushly landscaped with more than a hundred types of trees, Paseo La Plaza boasts several theaters, an open-air amphitheater, a small convention center, and the first and only Beatles museum in this part of the world.

Overview. Paseo La Plaza was built where the bustling Mercado Modelo once stood. Serving residents in or near the 1600 block of Corrientes Avenue for much of the twentieth century, the ornate market hall was also popular for its Bachín y Pichín Restaurant.

I went because I bought a ticket to see Hernan Casciari and it exceeded my expectations. Not only the work I recommend it as well as his books that can be bought in the place there called Orsai. If you see the work they make a 25 percent discount on the titles. Well worth it.

There are several theaters, there is a Beatles museum and nice places to eat and have a nice time.

I'll be back.

We spent a lot on this tour, which is a delight, a point of calm and coziness in the muvucada Corrientes. What I recommend closed eyes are the empanadas of the Mucha Pizza, located inside the tour. The onion cheese is simply divine. Just go and eat the best empanadas you will eat on the trip and probably in life!

This place is surprising, half a block on Corrientes Avenue there is this passage, with a lot of vegetation, theater halls and places to eat
The use of the center of the block for such a beautiful adventure of taking a walk where you can enjoy art/theater and gastronomy is really surprising.
The gastronomic establishments are small and have high prices.
It is a magical place that everyone should add to their itinerary.

Paseo La Plaza is a great place to visit if you are in town. They offer lot of Options for Theater as well as some pretty decent restaurants. They also have convenient parking.
Tickets for shows can be purchased in place or via web. There are also stand up late shows.
I like paseo la plaza very much, this time we enjoyed Favio Posca show called Lagarto Blanco!.

Beautiful theatre in.BsAs. The place is pastoral and romantic, and there are many wonderful shows. You can buy tickets few days before the show in the theatre itself. We bought 2 days before and great seats.
