Incredible two weeks experiencing the best of Argentina

Three weeks home, we are still in awe of our incredible holiday in beautiful Argentina and that is a result of the exceptional hard work, dedication and passion of Loli Delger and her incredible guides/staff she has partnered with all over Argentina. She single handedly crafted a unique, interesting and most thoughtful trip for our family. From culture/history in Buenos Aires, to trekking and hiking in El Calafate, to paddle boarding, hiking, biking in Bariloche and finally to wine tasting and cooking in Mendoza. Each day was filled with so much interest with every unimaginable detail incorporated. Loli is very well respected in each place we visited so the service we received throughout the different regions were equally superior. I would only recommend Loli as her expertise, commitment and great personality is to be highly commended. Argentina now holds a very special place. We met so many wonderful people throughout working and assisting our days. It is the personal stories told by the people we met that will be memorable always. Thank you so much, Loli for making our trip magical.

I strongly recommend if you go to Argentina The Hummingbird Trip is your best choice to organize your trip.
The Hummingbird Trip is not your usual trip, it’s much more, it is customized, the perfect blend between must see tourist spots and unique local experiences.

Unforgettable friends trip in Jujuy

Best experience ever! This trip to Argentina’s north region wouldn’t have been the same without Loli, in whom we trusted our full schedule of activities and logistics. We enjoyed every minute of the best landscapes of magnificent Jujuy with my childhood friends. Really unforgettable!!

Amazing City Amazing People !

Well what an Introduction to BA, and what a welcome from Loli especially when you are trying to find your feet in such a vibrant city. The tour that she gave us in one day was nothing short of what the traveler needs to put them on the right path, only to know that you can go back and visit your favorite spots in this amazing city which I already miss so much. Loli was informative till the end and like the colorful spectrum that pass your eyes from Plaza del Mayo, San Telmo, Ricoleta and La Boca, was her knowledge of this city with a heartbeat. From there we sat down at lunch at Tancat to get down to business good food wine and company to find out who are the people the passion and the background to Argentina. An amazing day had by my friend and I and the recommendations to restaurants, bars, ranches and wineries were second to none. My friend Loli,that's what holidays are all about.Thank you Leo "Gaucho" Borovilas

Excellent support and organization for a solo trip!

I decided last minute to visit Argentina, and I found Loli's website online. The look and feel of the site is very professional and I had a look at some of the itineraries that were exactly what I was looking for.
I had specific interestes in local food, sport (polo), jewelry making I wanted to relax and also see different parts of the city: Loli was able to put together a perfect plan for my two weeks there, which included (just to mention a few) a wonderful lunch with a starred chef at her place, a polo match in BA, a visit to the different parts of the city with a very personal and detailed explanation of history, layout, nice stories, a visit to the Delta of the Tigre river including a boat tour and a lovely lunch at a wonderful restaurant, a special visit to a jewelry maker oustide BA, a 3 days getaway to Uruguay at an amazing retreat...I can't stop thanking Loli for having made my stay in Argentina a real pleasure, leaving me with the best of the experiences and taking away the hassle of booking, organizing and finding special places for me to enjoy. I highly recommend Loli if you plan a trip to Argentina

If you want to see the real Buenos Aires, they it should be an "outing with Loli"

I was put in touch with Loli before I flew to Buenos Aires. She was very helpful in giving me tips in advance (via email) and we agreed on a day to meet up.

We met up for our walk - after agreeing on the general outline of what I would (and would not) like to see. The walk itself started with a short car ride to a neighborhood with a number of leather stores - as I was searching for a good quality satchel bag.

After agreeing that we both enjoy walking long distances, we set off on foot. I got a run down of the various neighborhoods (and their history) that we walked past. I also her attention to detail especially interesting. We stopped at a cafe for excellent coffee and a few stores to buy presents for my friends back home. She also was able to get me a booking at a very popular restaurant for the following evening.

I found this outing with Loli as an excellent way to see Buenos Aires. Loli is very good company and highly knowledgeable of her city. I also appreciated the amount of interest she took to plan the trip, based on my interests, in advance.

I would gladly do it again (to other neighborhoods) when I make it back to BA again. I also managed to find the leather bag I was looking for on the day out with Loli.

Good tour guide, follow up terrific

We booked and all day outing with Loli.
The Good: Can't say enough about her follow through, even after our tour was over. Her staff went out of their way to help us with other things we wanted to do. We went around the city to various places and some non tourist attractions. Loli is very knowledgable about the city and it's history. We loved the restaurant she chose for lunch. We also asked for street art, graffiti, etc and saw some wonderful stuff.
The Not So Good: We went to a childhood friend artist friend of hers. Wasn't sure if we were supposed to buy the art or not, but did feel a little pressured. Then we went to a cardboard recycle, which turns cardboard into art. The idea is to give kids some skills and keep them off the streets. The idea is wonderful and they do really great work. The problem was that we were not asked whether or not we wanted to go, just that we were going, and were expected to donate $50. Felt a little off putting. All of the family commented on it.

Superb & In Depth Tours of Buenos Aires with Loli

After reading the glowing reviews about Loli, we decided to book her for three days to get an overview of Buenos Aires and its surroundings. Loli took us to all of the major sights plus into all the diverse neighborhoods surrounding the City center including the Delta. Wow! What a magnificent experience! Loli 's grasp of Buenos Aires and its hidden treasures made each day an exciting adventure-full of delightful tidbits of information & interesting perspectives of the city. Loli has an engaging personality enhanced by her passion and deep knowledge of Buenos Aires, it's surrounding communities, history, politics & economy. She brings a unique view based on her multi-generational Buenos Aires background, her own life experiences, and her love of nature. Having taken many city tours throughout our lives, we can easily say Loli is among the best. She will customize your tour based on your interests and has a captivating way of leaving you wanting more time with her and Buenos Aires and Argentina. Don't miss the Delta!!

In Buenos Aires with Loli

If you love cities, then it's hard not to be enchanted with Loli and her personalized view of Buenos Aires, a city she reveals with all its grand gestures and triumphs, European plan and sophistication, and intriguing political realities. She tailor-made our 5 plus hours to include architecture and urban design, the grand scheme of parks and green space, enclave neighborhoods, behind-the-scenes notable places, the German influences on the city, and the pieces of authentic Buenos Aires a casual tourist could not hope to experience. Loli expertly qualifies as Buenos Aires' ambassador. As a first-time South American traveler, I was impressed with Loli's authentic understanding of her city and how easily she conveyed what the rest of us long to know.

A MUST DO IN BA

Right from the first email to the day outing with Loli was perfect.
I found Loli on trip advisor. I travelled to Buenos Aires with my mother, my mother in law and my sister in law. We were only going to be in BA for 2 days (3 nights) on our way to Brazil. We wanted to get the best experience we could in BA and wanted to see a lot of the city.
Right from our initial email, Loli's customer service was exeptional. She recommended somewhere for us to stay, which was perfect and so beautiful, I totally recommend it "Bernarda House" in beautiful Palermo.
Loli also booked our transfers to and from the airport to our accomodation.
Loli asks some questions and gets some information from you so she can find out a bit about you and who you are travelling with, she then taylor makes your perfect day in BA to suit you.
Loli arrived on time to pick us up from our accomodation and took us on an amazing tour of Buenos Aires, we wanted to know about the history and culture of Argentina, she showed us historical buildings, houses, we went to the cemetary and she took us to La Boka, we went to Recolata, she also showed us the slums too. We asked Loli to take us to an authentic Argentinia style restaurant for lunch, we didnt want a 5 star place to eat we wanted to try Authentic local food. And what an experience that was, absolutely beautiful. We would never of come across this restaurant that has been in business serving the working blue collar type people of BA for over 100 years. We would never of been able to see or learn what we did about BA & Argentina had we not of discovered Loli on Trip Advisor.
Loli is so enthusiastic, knowledgable and passionate about her country that she has instilled a bit of that passion on to us too. We will be back to Argentina and we will book another outing with Loli and we will discover more about this beautiful country.
If you are lucky enough to book a day with Loli you will not be dissappointed, more the opposite she will help you fall in love with this beautiful place too.
Well done Loli, thank you for everything you did for us. My only regret is that we did not have more time with you.
