Juan is a very nice store owner and loves to sell Argentina's best wines. I love the conversations we have about wine & all things Argentina.

We were looking for some more wines to take home with us. We found this little shop in San Telmo, and we noticed the prices were much lower than shops around Av. Florida. After we made our selection, we got a recommendation for lunch while the wines were packed. We came back to pick them up and all was great. Plan to visit upon our return to Buenos Aires!

I have been buying wine from Juan for many years and can't believe I am only now getting around to writing a review. As per the title, Juan is my wine guru when in Argentina. I can describe what I like and what I want to pay and he gets it right every time. He is also ready to offer suggestions and will describe a wine accurately if you don't know what you want. Super great selection of wine and wine paraphernalia (looking for a gift?) and he sells artesanal beer now too! Go check it out.

We stopped by Vinotango by chance as we were in the area and love to see different Wines. Juan was brilliant and talked us through Wines of Argentina, showing us a lot of different types and where they were produced on the map. We gave him a kind of price range we were looking to buy from and From his recommendation we brought one. We opened it a few days later and it was fantastic, such a good depth of flavour. One of the best Argentinian wines we have had. Thankyou Juan

I found this wine shop via Google Maps because I was short on time and needed to find a place nearby where I was staying. I was very lucky to find it, it's fantastic! It is a smaller shop (not too small though, there is still a large variety to choose from!). One thing to note is that although I really enjoy wine (a lot), I am not an expert. Juan, the owner, was very patient and understanding while answering my novice questions. I'm from Chicago so we have access to a great deal of Argentinian wine; I wanted to find wine that was made in limited quantities and not found in the US. Juan spent a great deal of time with me reviewing several varietals that I could try. I had a great experience here and can't wait to go back. I travel to BA frequently for work and will be stopping by every time. This shop has a great vibe and I highly recommend it. Also, he helped me pack all of the wine in preparation to check it in as luggage. I added a little more padding when I got back to my hotel and it all made it back in one piece.
