This was an excellent day, everything we wished, not overly commercial, gave a flavour of a working estancia. Pick up from Hotel on time with smooth journey to San Antonio de Areco, tour was a little disappointing but interesting. Would recommend this day trip

We really enjoyed our day visiting San Antonio de Areco and an estancia. We booked a private tour and Guillermo was really flexible in altering the usual timing of the trip, because we needed to start later than usual. Guillermo was a wonderful host and guide. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting to Guillermo and learning about the estancia and gauchos. After a lovely horse rise we enjoyed a lovely (huge!) lunch with wine. We also had the opportunity to visit a number of craftsmen and artists in San Antonio de Areco. The silversmiths produced beautiful items and were very happy to welcome you into their workshops. There was no pressure at all to buy. We also loved visiting an artist who painted gaucho cartoons - it was a real pleasure to talk to him and see his work. All in all, a great day that we'd recommend to anyone.

The estancia was beautiful and the horse back riding was fun. However, the visit to the small town at the beginning of the tour was organized more like a shopping trip-stopping at a few craft stores and a candy store. The food served at the estancia was plentiful but the quality was disappointing-it was prepared earlier then reheated. Overall, i would not recommend this tour.

Our guide, William, is a local residence of San Antonio and he seems to know all the people in the small town. He is devoted to promote his home town with passion and treat us as friends. He could explain the scenic spots in details. The BBQ lunch are excellent and delicious with unlimited supply of food and wines. Our tour members partipate in the local folklore dance with joy and happiest. Will not hesitate to recommend this tour to any friends.
