We booked a city tour with Tangol. They were extremely accommodating. The only complaint they sent two different addresses to meet causing us to miss our tour. We rebooked. We took a city tour with Roxy who was a great representative of Tangol and Buenos...More

After hours of waiting around on a well kept lawn we were taken for the meal. The meal consists on lots of tasteless meats. Then some cheesy singing. After all this for about 15 minutes some riders do some riding and repeatedly do the same...More

This was well worth the time and the best way to go is with a tour guide. The train was fun and later we got to go hike in the park and visit other areas.

This is absolutely nothing to spend time and money on. Was picked up by a small bus that spent over an hour picking up other guests. The site was crowded. We were eventually directed to a table where the view towards the stage was rather...More

A really enjoyable day which was very well organised from the moment that Sarah, our tour guide, (who speaks 5 languages), picked us up at our hotel. The Gaucho staff were fantastic, and so very friendly and amusing. The shows after a enormous lunch with...More

Really exciting experience. Guide was really nice and available, reach of information and suggests. The transfer is with a minibus (not a sightseeing bus), but they stop for two half-hour visits (one in Plaza de Maya, one in Caminito street), and they frequently stop for...More

Has anyone used Tangol tour in Argentina? (4 Replies)
Tangol offers a ridiculously low price for 3 and 4 star hotel ranges for a 20 day trip to all the cities I want to visit in Argentina. However, I'm wondering if there is a catch as this includes internal flights. Has anyone used Tangol? If so, would you please let me know your experience? We are budget conscious travellers but don't want to bus anywhere or be in unclean or unsafe accommodations, just trying to get the best value for our time. Is it a private tour or with other people? Should...More

Ask Tangol exactly what the arrangements are, they are nice helpful people and they do speak English. I only know that our clients who have used them for football or other excursions have been very happy with them.

Football March 2013 (1 Replies)
Hi TA, My partner and I have booked our flights in and out of BA based on the date of a football match we want to see, Boca V CA Lanus on the 30/03/2013. We have booked to fly out on the 31st. The Boca website shows the game as being on the 30/03/2013 however when I went to the Tangol website to book it states the 31/03/2013! We have been to our travel agent to try and change our flights so we can be in BA for the night of the 31st and well we can't change! Gutted to say the least....More

Boca/Newells or Boca/Maracaibo (4 Replies)
We will be in BA next month and these are the two matches going on. Does anyone have a preference? Also, we will probably book through Tangol. Would it be ok to book when we are there, or do you recommend in advance? The other question that I have is seating. Where should we request tickets? For Boca/Newells, they offer 3er Bandeja detras del Arco and for Boca/Maracaibo, they offer Tercer Bandeja Detras del Arco. Thanks!

Response fromGaucho100K|
Detras del Arco is behind one of the goals..... not choice seating exactly. Its best to try to get something right above midfield.
