About
Cultour is far from being a traditional city tour. Our private tours are not conventional at all: we are young independent workers .We are trained at several different institutions, such as the University of Buenos Aires We were taught to investigate beyond the classical history manuals. We don't use microphones because our tours are not a lecture, but a dialogue of equals. Tourism with Identity

I lived in Buenos Aires for 4 years and I think this is the best tour of the city there is! I have been with visiting friends and family about 4 times and each time I learn something new. The guides, who are history majors at the University of Buenos Aires, know a lot about the buildings and monuments that you will see as well as the history of the city in general. If you prefer to learn something about the place you are visiting, rather than just have someone point at a monument and tell you it's name, then you should go on this tour. I recommend doing it early on in your trip, that way as you walk the streets of Buenos Aires during the rest of your trip you will understand more about the culture and recent history of the country you are visiting.

With such great tour guides its hard to go wrong! Friendly, open, highly knowledgeable and well versed, these guys know their stuff and have a great and interactive way of sharing it. You can't get Buenos Aires or its people until you understand their history and this tour has a special way of doing that. They make history come to life and the tour itself opens your eyes to a whole other side of the city in a way that's unique, entertaining, interesting and fun. I highly recommend it!!

Our guide was really knowledgeable and passionate and gave us lots of insight into the political history of Buenos Aires. Giving us information which I would otherwise have missed. He also gave us a list of books and films so that we could find out more after the tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting BA!

If you go to Buenos Aires in order to visit the city and to know more about the historical and political situation of the country, you have to start with Cultour! You will learn a lot about the area of San Telmo which is the first barrow of Buenos Aires, and about a lot of crucial points of the culture of Argentina! All of this ending with a pleasant street tango show, it´s definitly a step you can´t skip!

Cultour is so much more than simply a walking tour! If you are interested in learning about the political and cultural history of Argentina as you take in famous sights in Buenos Aires, this is the company for you. The guides are extremely knowledgable, and you end up appreciating what you see so much more than if you simply drive by in a giant tour bus. I highly recommend Cultour to anyone visiting the city!

This free city tour takes you around the main historic monuments in Plaza Mayo after a brilliant introduction video. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic students answer all your questions and excellently convey Argentina's recent history to you. After the free tour, an optional tour to three very interesting places is offered, and highly recommended to go in more detail on all the fantastic events that have taken place in Buenos Aires over the last couple of centuries.
