On the Rio de la Plata riviera and 12km from the Obelisco in downtown, this park let you enjoy the magnificant view toward Uruguay on the other side of the river. You can get to the park by car, by bicycle or by bus, just get off on Del Libertador Av. and Gral. Paz Av. and walk 1.5km. Free parking for cars.
There're many options to do: outdoors activities, walk near the river, playgrounds for kids, picnic under the trees, artificial beach with sand, umbrellas, or just sit on the grass and close your eyes feeling the warm breeze.

I go running every week from my house, and each time I go I enjoy it even more. Sunset near the river is a great experience, and the park is really well designed. Tip, you can cross directly to the Vicente Lopez shore, also amazing, through a small red bridge, open from 9.30 to 6pm, every day.

This park is just "ok" certainty not as nice as others more central in BA (like in Palermo or Recoleta). People come here to picnic, walk, jog, sunbathe, or sit on the grass, or look at the water. It's nothing special though, and definitely out of the way.
What drew us here for a short visit, however, was the fact it was on the coast, not so much the ocean as the huge River, but coastal nonetheless. Water is deep brown on account of the mud.
We saw a nice statue of the president who brought democracy to Argentina too. Important statues like this should be in higher traffic parks, I would think.

The place is okay if you are around, but not worth
visiting if you are spending a small amount of time in Buenos Aires.
The river, some seats, grass cut, and mediocre food trucks.

Growing larger over the years, Parque de los Niños is an odd green space by the river, suitable for those who want to get a bit afar from the concrete and the hustle of the city. Better during weekdays (if your time allows) to avoid those weekend crowds.

Big area close to the river - nice, sunny (yet HOT in Summer!) and very easy to get to. There are soccer fields, bike paths, and other attractions e.g., gym classes offered by the hour.

Ok to visit, but not special as it’s too far from the city center.
In the summer time it’s popular, and parking is close to impossible.
If your in that neck of the woods and want a peaceful open space during off season, then go.

The park is nice, big and well set. Apart from that it is not big deal. You can see the river, but you cannot dive.

Unique park in his type in the city. Large spaces and ideal for different activities: tan, fish, picnic, sports, cycle and running too. Very clean and safe.

Abrazos
