Premium Tigre Delta and San Isidro Tour from Buenos Aires

91 reviews
Swap the busy streets of Buenos Aires for the waterways of the Tigre River Delta on a day trip that’s ideal for first-time visitors. You’ll see a more provincial side of the region as you explore the cobbled streets of San Isidro. Plus, you'll escape the crowds on land during a canal cruise on the delta.

This is a very nice and friendly yoga studio in San Telmo with very good teachers. I visited classes there for about 2 months and went to their yoga retreat in Uruguay which was amazing with lots of forever lasting memories. I recommend the studio to any traveller wishing to go to a yoga class while travelling or staying in BA!

I visited Buenos Aires for 3 months last year and have been lucky enough to return for 3 months this year. BuenaOnda was one of the first places I visited on my return as it offers a warm welcome to people of all ages and levels of yoga experience. Classes are taught in English, mats are provided. You don't need to book ahead of time. Just make sure you arrive at one of the two studios about five minutes before the class is due to start as the San Telmo studio does not have a bell and you need to be there when the instructor welcomes yogis to class. Yogis can take one class for US$14, (first one is US$7)a block of 8 classes, valid for 2 months, or sign up for unlimited use classes for 2 weeks, 1 month or 3 months. Payments can be made on line. Payments can also be made in ARS. There are currently 2 studios, one in San Telmo and the other in Palermo. The timetable has 10 classes, six days a week ( no classes on a Saturday) so I found it easy to fit classes in around my other activities. Most classes are Vinyasa Flow but give the Yin Yoga on a Wednesday night a try, it's quite different and Christine's "2 week Toe Squat challenge" just might be the thing if you are having any problems with your feet! Meghan and her team of instructors are warm and encouraging, they take a genuine interest in their students, whether you are attending one class or you are living in the city for a longer period and are keen to meet people from many different countries. As an older woman I was a little hesitant that I might be out of place in a class where many of the participants are quite a bit younger. Not a bit of it! I have been made to feel very welcome and have enjoyed meeting up with fellow yogis for coffee after class on a Thursday at Lattente, the excellent coffee shop near the Palermo studio. For me BuenaOnda Yoga has been a key element of settling into Buenos Aires and I will definitely buy a 3 month unlimited use card on my next visit to the city!

I'm so thankful for the good people of Buena Onda Yoga. Reasonably priced classes, too. I recommend the monthly pass to explore the different teachers in all the locations.

I love the yoga classes in Palermo. There is no sign at the door so just ring the bell. The instruction is very clear and encouraging. The teachers are open if you have any preferences. I also like the mix of people: world travelers and expats living there.

During the four months I spent in Buenos Aires, Buena Onda Yoga was definitely a highlight. I loved each and every single teacher I had and grew so much throughout my practice with them—both physically and spiritually. Buena Onda provides a home away from home, a community in a foreign place. Would definitely recommend this studio to anyone I knew headed to south America, it simply cannot be missed!
