Love this yoga community

I'm so thankful for the good people of Buena Onda Yoga. Reasonably priced classes, too. I recommend the monthly pass to explore the different teachers in all the locations.

I love the yoga classes in Palermo. There is no sign at the door so just ring the bell. The instruction is very clear and encouraging. The teachers are open if you have any preferences. I also like the mix of people: world travelers and expats living there.

During the four months I spent in Buenos Aires, Buena Onda Yoga was definitely a highlight. I loved each and every single teacher I had and grew so much throughout my practice with them—both physically and spiritually. Buena Onda provides a home away from home, a community in a foreign place. Would definitely recommend this studio to anyone I knew... More

Buena Onda is the BEST!!! Not only is it a great studio with knowledgeable teachers, but its an international community of cool people looking to get re-centered in admist the craziness of this city. A wonderful place to reconnect with yourself and others in BA, especially for those new to the city. As a work-a-holic myself, joining Buena Onda Yoga... More

At first I was hesitant to go to a yoga studio. I was stiff, had not worked out or done any sports for quite a while and was afraid I would not be able to pull off those big poses you often see online. Buena Onda accepted me in their arms the moment I stepped foot inside of the studios... More

I have been going to yoga Buena onda for the last 5 years. I have never been disappointed by any class. The company definitely lives up to its name, Buena onda all around! Not only have I left each class feeling exhilarated, but I've made some amazing friends throughout the years!

I have actually been going to buena onda now for over 3 years. .. it feels like a little piece of home in this crazy city! :) their style is vinyasa mostly, a great flow. I love all the teachers energy and enthusiasm. It is a great place to meet friends and be introduced into a friendly expat community while... More

I am living in Buenos Aires for three months and when I arrived in November I was looking for a chance to take some exercise on a regular basis. As a yoga beginner, with experience of Pilates, I was a little worried that I would find it difficult to keep up in class. However, each of the instructors brings their... More

Here with my husband for his conference, I wanted to find a local class in English. This was perfect! Close to our hotel, reasonably priced, and super friendly. Class was flow (ashtanga style) and I tend to do more hatha in the U.S., but the instructor gave good instructions and modifications. I always love finding interesting classes when I travel.... I loved taking classes at Buena Onda when I was in Buenos Aires. The classes are taught by very competent, well trained instructors. There is a feeling of community and warmth that feels very welcoming! I would highly recommend checking out the classes here. You will certainly feel great afterward and will most definitely make new friends!

Staying in San Telmo

Neighborhood Profile
San Telmo
Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many different cultures: a true child of immigration, much like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, the antique shops and classic cafés and bars around Plaza Dorrego dominate the scene. The emblematic Bar Plaza Dorrego, with its green awnings, checkered tile floors, and wooden interiors, takes you back in time the moment you step inside. For true porteño traditions, San Telmo is the place to be.
