Traveled as a couple in March 2021. As Canadian residents of Argentina looking for a unique and safe trip during the ongoing pandemic, we entrusted Madi and her team with curating a trip to Ushuaia in accordance with local restrictions. We are avid travelers and are normally quite comfortable organizing our own holidays but wanted to remove the stress of planning during a pandemic. From the initial onset of the planning stages and throughout the trip, we had great communication with Madi and her team. She took the time to learn our preferences and travel style beforehand to craft a unique and thoughtful itinerary. We specifically requested “off the beaten track” adventures given that we have already traveled in Argentina quite a bit. She definitely came through! We wanted to not only travel to the end of the world but also see the non-touristy parts of Tierra del Fuego. We have never felt more in the middle of nowhere and would not have gone to some of the more remote parts of our trip if it hadn’t been for her suggestions and planning. Our trip to Ushuaia was unlike any other that we had heard of (from the numerous friends and family members who had already visited the area) and we were so pleased with the unique activities she organized. The helicopter ride through the mountains, a “canoe” ride (a small zodiac) in the Beagle Channel and exploring abandoned shipwrecks were highlights. All of our accommodations were lovely and special. She came up with a great balance of guided and self-guided activities throughout the itinerary. The local tour guides she arranged for us were extremely professional and responsive to our questions. One of the best parts of the trip was not having to worry about the issue of cancelations or complications – Madi takes care of everything for you! We have already recommended her to friends and would use her incredible planning skills again.

We had been so happy with Madi's touring services when we visited Buenos Aires a few years ago that we had her plan our entire trip to Colombia in March. She has an outstanding team there as well. In each city we visited, we had local, knowlegable guides who had wonderful ideas of activities tailored to our interests. Unfortunately, Covid-19 cut our trip short but they were so attentive to our safety and making sure we were able to return quickly to the US. Additionally, Madi was very gracious in refunding us every bit of prepayment that was possible. We will definitely be returning to Colombia to finish the trip (someday) and wouldn't think of using anyone than Madi and her BA Cultural Consierge team

Madi was great to work with. She was very responsive as I planned our 6 week stay in Buenos Aires. When we arrived, Nestor introduced us the the various neighborhoods around our apartment and in the city. He was a delight and provided lots of information re history, restuarants, speakeasies, sights & sounds. Madi's team got us off to a great start. A wonderful walking tour and experience. Unfortunately we got caught up in the virus lockdown for the last weeks of our stay. Then when we had a chance to reserve a seat on a specially organized repatriation flight back to the States, but I had trouble finding transportation to the airport. I contacted Madi to ask for help. She came through in flying colors. She arranged for a reliable taxi to pick us up in the very early morning so we could get to the airport. Without her help, not sure if we could have gotten to the airport. Madi was great when things were going great and Madi was even better when the chips were down. If your coming to BA, use Madi with the utmost confidence that her team will enhance your experience there. Thanks so much!

We had the pleasure of using BA Cultural Concierge when we spent 5 days in Buenos Aires/Iguazu a few weeks ago. Madi was always quick to respond to any questions, and helped us make the absolute most of our time in Buenos Aires. Guides Nestor, Juan and Jorge were delightful, tailoring our tours to our interests and having an incredible amount of knowledge about the history and politics of the area. The hotel Madi booked for us, Casasur Bellini, was in a lovely, safe part of Buenos Aires, and the Iguazu hotel she booked for us (Melia) was absolutely fabulous - our only regret is that we did not spend more time there. The restaurants Madi chose and reserved for us were fantastic. Warning: although prices are low, the entrees at La Carniceria are meant to be shared. We each got our own and were overwhelmed by the amount of meat - definitely not an amount one or even two people could manage to consume. A highlight was a visit to an authentic Milonga. I thought we would be seeing a touristy tango show but not at all - this was a local venue where were were the only tourists. Jorge told us about all the nuances of the tango and how it all works. The dancers were all consummate pros and it was exquisite to watch (don’t go there thinking you will be dancing - you’d just embarrass yourself amongst the highly orchestrated experts.) We will definitely be using BA Cultural Concierge the next time we visit, which we hope will be soon. Thank you Madi, Nestor, Juan and Jorge!

Within minutes of arriving at Buenos Aires domestic airport prolonged and torrential rain turned our dream trip to Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian border into a nightmare. The runway was flooded. The air traffic control system closed down and flights were delayed. Within an hour ours was one of many to be cancelled. Lengthy queue built at information centres and checking desks. As time wore on hopes of a place on a later flight plunged towards zero at speed. It was all very depressing. Out of the blue my wife’s mobile phone rang. It was Madi from BA Cultural. Concierge Tours, the travel company who had booked our early morning pickup, flights and a guide at Iguazu Falls. The message was simple. ‘You have been re-booked on the 1.30pm.’ It was service, unquestionably, above and beyond the call of duty and the drawn out drama made the trip to the spectacular falls all the more memorable. As indeed was our multi- lingual guide Giovanni, who the previous week had been told by an elderly American lady that she simply could not manage to walk up and down the steep slopes and wooden stairs on the approach to the breath- taking attraction. Giovanni solved that problem by helping the old girl in to a wheelchair and pushing her up hill and down dale in a remarkable act of compassion that for me summed up BA Cultural Concierge Tours. First class and caring service for all.
