Good to be back in BsAs and in Krakow Bar. This place has evolved tremendously since my last visit. The bar is a welcome respite after u had all obligatory steaks. It has countless tapas and main dishes of European origin, very unusual for a full bar with artisanal taps, countless whiskeys and vodkas. It's very popular between the locals and foreigners and is hard to get in on the weekends. I'm going to check their new place called Krakow Resto Palermo because I'm intrigued by their cooking. Great job, gents!

Came in on friday night, we were not seated, so we set down. The place was full but not completely. We ordered beers and cuba libre after a long time of waiting. The beers came in warm and cuba libre made with the cheapest rum possible as you could taste. After a while of arguing on the bar, we got a new beer.

As the meal went, we ordered Pierogi with cheese filling and mushroom sauce as one shared meal and sausage with potatoes. We waited for more than hour and half to get our food. As the food was delivered, we were amazed by disgusting smell of vinegar that was so strong. As we digged in the pierogi, you couldnt feel any other taste than the vinegar, not the mashrooms, nor the taste of cheese in pierogi. As we asked for the food to be returned to the kitchen, the waitress said that it is what we ordered and unwillingly took it back to the kitchen where they told her that it is supposed to be that way and that the strong taste will fate away.
as we came in already hungry, and since we waited for another hour, we digged in again, but we ate only 2-3 pierogy hoping that the real taste is somewhere there.

As the sausage was decent, potatoes cooked without salt, they were overcooked too.

We ordered another beer that too came in way too warm, (room temperature) and we were about to pay, since we didnt like the pierogi so much we didnt feel like we should pay for them as we fought with the manager and the waitress (who told us that the taste needs to settle) that if we didnt wanna pay for it we shouldnt have eaten it. as we ate only like a third of the meal.

The place is not cheap, we paid for food that was seriously disgusting and service that was unwilling to help and very rude.

Also both of us were sick off the pierogy the whole night.

Two of us are Slovak, I grew up on boarders with Poland and the only thing this Krakow have in common with Poland is the name.

I will not recomend this place to anyone ever visiting.

we feel always very welcomed there, and as I observe so do others. The bartenders are friendly, people laugh, have a good time. The bar has a very good selection of imported alcohols. and their "bar" food was a very pleasant surprise. We ordered polish platter of different deli cuts, some of them came with a flame :). Their deli cuts are home-made and delicious, nice departure from local, Argentinian deli which at times lacks a flavor. Their menu is very big and offers dinners, soups, and more, really it is very international. The bar is located in a historic building, and has a charm to it.

We went there to quickly check this place out since we heard good things about it. It was just a quick visit in a middle afternoon to have a few beers without having any food. Place look really nice inside and staff is friendly even if we did not speak decent Spanish.
Worth checking out at least once, probably bit later than us since it starts to get crowded in the evening (during our visit we were only guests there).

It is pretty crazy to find a Polish pup in the middle of Buenos Aires. The food was great. They have authentic Polish food that they make in house plus all kinds of traditional Argentinian food. The happy hour specials are fantastic. Make sure to try some of the Polish wodka's, there's a big list of them on the last page of the menu. While i was there i had the opportunity to chit chat with the owners. Both of them are very cool and more than willing to talk to the guests. This place is a must see if you are looking for some good food and company.

Went here twice during our time in San Telmo. Loved that we could get local draft beer of various types from IPA to Stout.

We did not try the food so can't comment on this.

Bottom line for me. If you want to have some drinks in a low-key but fun and friendly place this is a good option in San Telmo.

Unlike most of the nightlife in BA, this place is open early.
