We had the most amazing time at Polo Day Argentina. We got picked up in BA city center, spend the day at the wonderful estancia. Everything was taken care off. We watched a good match, had a great Asado and after we gave the horses a spin ourselves. Would recommend it to everybody.

Everything was perfect! Horses are really well treated, the food is delicious, Marie and few horses specialists took us for a 3 hour long riding adventure, and I feel secure the all way (beside I'm not a good horse rider at all). I had a perfect time there, and the Polo initiation in the afternoon was something really impressive to practice. The place feels like little paradise and I highly recommend you to go there if you want to discover more about the Argentin way of living.

There are no words to express how much I enjoyed it. I have heard a lot about the polo day experience, and it was even better than I imagined. Celia and her family made us feel at home from the very beginning. Arriving at the estancia, they welcomed us with wine and the best empanadas I have ever tried. We first watched a professional polo match, and we could even do the throw-in. Marie, our great instructor, helped us understand the rules and basics of polo. After enjoying an asado with wine, it was our turn to get into the field.

We visited twice La Carona Argentina Polo Day in December 2020, with a family group. It is a great experience! Very complete, you are welcomed with empanadas (traditional Argentinean turnover) as appetizer, then you watch an intense amateur polo game, followed by a delicious traditional asado. And now you are ready for the main activity: riding the horses to get familiar, practicing some shots, and finally an actual (simplified) polo game with your family and friends. It is a great experience! The horses are well trained and know the game, you do not need to worry about not knowing how to ride: we were in our family 8 persons, none of them rode horses before. Thus, the speed of your game will be much slower than the morning game by the amateurs, but still very exciting, funny and enjoyable. A special thank you to our host Augustina, who took care of every detail, from polo rules to granting that the food was perfect, and specially that our polo game was funny and safe. The location is beautiful, and appropriated for small groups, around max of 20 people. This is a great advantage if your group is in this size or smaller, compared with similar experiences that host much larger groups, losing the closeness and friendliness this experience may offer. In the first visit we were just us four, in our second visit we were 6 from our group plus another group of 5, but just our group played polo, making this a memorable family experience.

From the moment we were picked up in Buenos Aires to the moment we were dropped back off, the experience was both individualized and comforting. My party and I highly recommend this trip for families, business retreats or friendly gatherings!
