Argentina is famed for its rich and fruity Malbec along with other varietals. But if you can't make it up to the Mendoza wine region, let Mendoza meet you in Buenos Aires!

Anuva Wines carefully hand-picks boutique wines from Argentina, such as fruity Malbec, Bonarda and Argentina's flagship white wine, Torrontes. They do daily wine tastings in English, Spanish and Portuguese from their tasting loft in Palermo Soho.

Think a glass of malbec accompanied by Spanish chorizo, assorted cheeses and carne empanadas! Tastings are relaxing, personal, and conducted by a friendly and fun Anuva Sommelier.

An Anuva Tasting Includes:

● 5 limited production wines from boutique Argentine wineries paired with 5 traditional Argentine Tapas

● A fun, informative chat about the different wines, where they come from and the history of wine in Argentina

● Option to ship your favorites to your home in United States and Australia

I have booked 2 wine tastings this year with Diego at Anuva Wines; both times when I had friends visiting from California. Both groups of friends live close to Napa Valley and know their wines well, and said that Anuva Wine Tasting was one of the highlights of their trip to Buenos Aires! The booking process both times were smooth.... More

Great wines, and the food pairings were spot on too. The information provided about Argentinian wines was very useful, and helped with more informed choices for the rest of my trip, and also wine choices back at home. It was a very pleasant (early) evening, and I would highly recommend this to any wine lovers (dont need to be experts).

If you're a wine lover, or even just a wine liker, then visit Anuva. A fabulous introduction to the wines of Argentina, wonderfully paired with food to highlight each wine. Tastings are generous, and refills encouraged. Bertie was extremely knowledgable, and friendly in his presentation.

This wine tasting with food pairing was a wonderful experience. Diego Estaban was very knowledgeable and helpful; learning about the different wine regions of Argentina was quite interesting. We especially enjoyed the fact that the tastings were of wines that were produced by small vineyards in limited quantities. I ended up buying a case and it was delivered promptly and... More

My friend and I booked this based on a recommendation. We had so much fun - first the wine and tapas were delicious. They provide a great presentation about Argentinian wine, which was super informative and allowed us to understand the wines we were trying. Also, one thing I loved is you get to sit at a group table with... More

My brother and his newly engaged fiancé (they got engaged while here) visited for a few days and they were on a mission to have that "argentine wine experience", Anuva wines most definitely provided that. We originally were supposed to go on a Wednesday but due to the big surprise I asked to change the day of and they were... More

What a great way to spend an afternoon trying some wines from Argentina. Very nice location & very good wines. Also loved the food tasting tapas that were hand made by the some guy who did the wine tasting. Very nice personalized touch! Totally recommend.

The worst wines we had in Buenos Aires were at our Anuva Wines wine tasting. We were extremely disappointed, especially given the expense. All the wines were overly smooth, light, and bland for their class. The food pairings were okay, but it felt like the sommelier was just providing decent pairings to mask crap wines. He was totally checked-out, following... More

We absolutely loved our experience at Anuva Wines. We were able to taste a wide range of Argentinian wines with great food pairings. Would definitely recommend this one! Best part is that you can purchase wine and have it shipped to the US for a marginal fee!

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
