We spend time in Buenos Aires, and this shop is only several blocks from our location, but it's worth checking out from other areas. Great selection of cheeses, meats, gourmet products, bread and wine. Very friendly service, very knowledgeable and good prices. Once you sample something you will want to buy it, very fresh and delicious selections!

No sense repeating the other comments. Let me add that the owner/manager (I assume) also has excellent suggestions of places to eat ("we liked this place" -- "well try this one -- better and cheaper!"). Food and wine are great. Suggestions welcome and helpful. Nice neighourhood shop to keep frequenting.

I found this awesome place through trip advisor! I was able to get some awesome local gifts from wine, jam and dulce de leche. They were so helpful and patient with me and packed up all my things for my flight. The prices were very good too! Stop by and visit!

Everytime I visit Buenos Aires, I stop by and say hello to Marcelo, the friendly owner. He recomends wines and makes great sandwiches to picnic around Recoleta. They have all sorts of specialties and oustanding cold cuts and cheeses, not to mention good French bread.

During my visit to the Recoleta cemetery, I went in REALE productos gourmet-and I found this nice little trade delicatessen, wine and cheese and so on, since there are so many beautiful and good things to taste. For example, I buy REAL MAPLE SYRUP Canada, the FLEUR DE SEL France, Italian truffles, a very good French bread, a touch blue... More

My favorite spot to buy wine and chheese in Recoleta is Reale Productos Gourmet at Puyerredon 2054 near Las Heras, one block from the Recoleta Cemetary. The service is excellent and prices best in town Marc, Canada

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
