- tommymihalyBrighton, United Kingdom113 contributionsThe most brilliant blue watersAbsolutely gorgeous stretch of beach. Can be some quite rough waves on the beach near the centre but calmer waters can be found towards the blue lagoon. The blue lagoon has some small fish in the water but didn’t see any anywhere else along the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and snack bars along the promenade for lunch and dinner. 2 Sunbeds and 1 Umbrella cost us 600tl for the day. Paragliding is on offer everywhere you go and they have regulated the price for this now so you should not pay more than about £125 for the experience and an additional £25 for photos/footage. Spent everyday sitting here in the sun listening to the waves, it truly is a stunning beach.Visited May 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten May 8, 2024
- michael d44 contributionsDon't go without beach shoes / don't buy ice cream from the beach front stallIt was worse than walking on christmas baubles. Feet killing after walking on all the pebbles. Water was a little dirty and trash could be seen in many places. Not really a good place for kids as it's very wavy and choppy even when it's calm. All the bars / restaurants are really expensive and the quality doesn't match the price. I bought my son an ice cream from the stall next to the dolmus stop. Two scoops of ice cream in a tub cost me £10. Absolutely disgusted. I didn't even pay that anywhere in the amalfi coast or salento.Visited May 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 6, 2024
- World TravellerIstanbul, Türkiye73 contributionsBreathtaking Oludeniz Beach: Warm Waters and Stunning ViewsOludeniz Beach offers warm, warm water and stunning views, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. The beauty of the beach is unparalleled, though beach shoes are recommended due to the small rocks. A must-visit destination!Visited June 2024Traveled soloWritten June 23, 2024
- Alara VSarlat-la-Canéda, France9 contributionsThe nature is beautiful but the beach is pebble and the businesses are very expensiveThis is one of the symbolic places of Turkey, but we were disappointed when we arrived. We were expecting a sandy beach. Unfortunately, it is a pebble beach. Also, the sea suddenly gets deeper. All cake and restaurant establishments on this beach are very expensive. I recommend you not to waste moneyVisited June 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten June 27, 2024
- it's me bunny12 contributionsGreatOne of the best vacay I spent is here. Water was clear, sunbeds are great. Beach is great, alot of resurants, fast food, caffes around, shower. Everything you need on the beach is here. Idel summer spot!Visited August 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten August 14, 2024
- Sunny ABrighton, United Kingdom186 contributionsVery crowded in peak monthsDuring peak months the beach and seas are absolutely rammed with people. The photo is at the end of the beach at 8.30pm. The sea has a lovely blue colour but the beach itself has shingles and pebbles so not easy to walk or swim in. I don't think it's safe for younger kids as there's a drop so they need constant supervision. We went to two beaches this holiday and Iztuzu beach (see my review for this), is far superior but it is near Dalyan and can only be reached by boat.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 21, 2024
- Laura LSydney, Australia21 contributionsNice scenery, a little spennyA good place to tick off the bucket-list but slightly disappointing compared to many other beaches. Renting a sunbed is quite expensive as are the food and drink options on offer. The water is lovey, but (most likely due to the crowds), a little dirty. Happy to say I've been but not somehwere i'd choose to go againVisited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten September 1, 2024

We took a day visit to The Blue Lagoon Beach in Ölüdeniz, what a sensational place to visit. The water is so blue and clear. From the mountain the water is just picture perfect! There are sunbeds all around the edge to use and someone comes around to charge for their use - I think it was 15 TL or close to this price so very reasonable.
My husband jet ski’d and my friend paraglided from the mountain! She had an amazing experience and bought pictures and video footage of her glide.
A pirate man came around with a parrot and we had some pictures taken which we later bought. We ate in the beach cafe, food was lovely and had an ice cream afterwards. There are toilet facilities- not the cleanest but bearable! Would absolutely recommend a visit here!

Really enjoyed our week here, better than expected, beach nice but very pebbly once into the sea, Blue lagoon beautiful and free pick ups. Plenty bars and restaurants to choose from and good value for money. Lots of trips available also great prices all day boat trip lunch for £15, £5 for pedalos or paddle boards so did lots of activities. Would definitely return!

We visited the blue lagoon Oludeniz twice last year and loved it so much we returned this year. We had such a lovely day watching the paragliders jumping of Bagadad mountain . The beach is well kept and tidy, plenty of sun Loungers which you can hire for just a few TL. The water is so so clear and great for swimming once you get over the rocky shore! The bars and restaurants on the beach seemed to have been updated this year and presented much nicer than last year. Plenty of places to get food and drinks.

The sea and the beach are wonderful. We have been to this place many times in previous years, but they have unnecessarily exaggerated the prices. One umbrella and two sunbeds are 750 TL. Entrance on foot is 50 TL, entrance by car is 400 TL, there is no permission even for entering and exiting. Every Entrance is paid. When you enter in the morning and leave the beach for lunch, the entrance fee is charged again. In short, it's too expensive, I won't come again. Those who come should put at least 2,300 in their pocket.

The beach is beautiful and the colors are amazing BUT there are tons of garbage verywhere.
Bottles, cigars, napkins, bags and etc. It's so sad and disgusting.
Turkish people only care about making money and the tourists who visit are just pigs (most of them).
In addition to that, all the beach is covered by beds and umbrellas, so you can't normally walk around and enjoy the beach.

Lagon, 2 sun loungers, 1 umbrella, 400 TL. The operator has reserved what you eat and drink. It's extra, but if you want, bring a chair and sit hungry or have a picnic atmosphere. Bring your food. Parking, passenger car, 120 TL. We chose Monsion Beach as the restaurant. The menu and prices are very good. I gave it a medium rating, the distinction between beach and restaurant, the extra cost is ridiculous -

I spent a few days on the beach in Oludeniz and a few days on the beach of Cleopatra in Alania. So I can compare both of these places. My impressions are as follows:
Alania's Cleopatra Beach is very large. And there are hotels along the entire length. So there is no problem finding a hotel close to the beach. The Oludeniz (Blue Lagoon) beach is adjacent to a very small village. So it's hard to find a hotel. You will probably commute by car to get to the beach.
Using a car in Oludeniz in the high season requires spending about 40 minutes in traffic jams. Access to the beach by car, 2 kilometers away, takes about 40 minutes. The Oludeniz beach is very crowded. There is a huge amount of tourists there. There are fewer tourists on Cleopatra Beach.
There is sand on Cleopatra's Beach. Romantic walks in the setting sun are possible. There are stones on the Oludeniz beach. So forget about walking.
Cleopatra Beach is very clean. Oludeniz beach is dirty. You can see rubbish everywhere - even next to the sunbeds. The water on Cleopatra's beach is fairly clean. On the Oludeniz beach, 2 meters from the shore, the water is dirty. A little further - cleaner.
Cleopatra Beach is located in the city (Alania). Oludeniz Beach is surrounded by high mountains. There are nice views.
Summary - if you want to go to Oludeniz you may be disappointed. But there is one good news. From Oludeniz you can sail to the Butterfly Valley. It is a really beautiful place to be recommended.

You go downhill by car at a long distance from Fethiye, you wait in a long car queue, the entrance fee is 120₺, we brought an umbrella and a savanna to the ground. The beach of the Ölüdeniz part is small and you sit together, the sea is shallow and then it deepens, it is crowded, it is stagnant like pool water, and it gets its name from this stagnation. I guess I did not experience an enjoyable swimming experience, Belcekız. There are big stones on the beach side when entering the sea, it was below my expectations.

Hold your head up on the ramp that goes down to your dead mouth and look up at the sky and watch people float in the sky . Because with these prices , we can only track . The 5-7-minute short drive is $30, the 4500 camera is $30, the longer is $9500 plus $30 camera check and admission fee. Crazy money . Parking at the beach is 400 tl walk and 50 tl per person entrance. Sunbeds umbrella 750 tl per person. We bought our own chairs and tent. There was ample space available . We took our water and snacks ⁇ . Even watching parasailing was a blast. The sea is gentle but not disturbing. There''s a complimentary shower ⁇ locker cabin and WC.

The sea is perfect, we go almost every year. However, although the restaurant called Blue Lagoon beach or mansion a la carte looks very stylish, the employees in the kitchen do not pay attention to the hygiene rules. There are inappropriate employees in the kitchen who dip their hands into the fryer where french fries are made and put it in their mouth. Therefore, although the appearance is beautiful, I would definitely not recommend it because it is not hygienic.

Hi - although I think the lagoon is very pretty, I personally prefer to swim in the sea part of the beach (but not been since the mid 90s !!)
We are looking to come for a couple of days, while staying elsewhere on the other side of Fethiye.
Can you please tell me if there are any beach clubs on the sea end of the beach and if so which are they and recommendations please.
Thanks

In mid of October in oludeniz everything is open or close.?.or it's better to skip oludeniz and will go to anatalya as I heard beaches and activities are mostly same in these two places?

Came back from Ölüdeniz on October 3. Our hotel was closing on October 24. In general most places close at the end of October. Due to the Thomas Cook Fiasco a few May shut a bit earlier.

Thinking of going to Oludeniz on 20th April next year and hoping to stay near the beach. Some appartments aren't open until May. Will the resort be too quiet? Are the restaurants and shops open in April?
