We are lucky to visit this site frequently as we have a house in Kekova and always bring guests here. We drive up along the most westerly of the three signed roads and park by the Roman theatre (NOT amphitheatre, please). Wonderful views and a...More

Easier access by car on the longer road closer to the Kaş side. The shorter road from the Demre side is more suited for a jeep or 4x4. Access by public dolmuş is possible but only by hiking the hill up from Yavu which is...More

Shared a taxi with another couple and the driver took us up a very stony track to the centre of an archaeological delight over 2000 years old! Loads of tombs and amphitheatre in middle of nowhere, just off Kas to Demre road near Yavus.

An amazing place. Secluded and untouched. Great place for a picnic surrounded by history and goats grazing in the nearby field.

Having passed the brown sign off the D400 on a rare previous foray East out of Kas and read the reviews below I was determined to pay a visit to Kyaneai. There is hardly anything about this place in most guidebooks and it is definitely...More
