Went there after recommendation from friend from Slovenia. Bought expensive white and red (20 USD plus) hoping for mature Slovenian wines that we have had before. Bother wines were undrinkable and they were pushing vintage wines that at this point must be said are unknown. Do not go there! Bengt Svensson

Good place to try some Slovenian wines. We unfortunately did not book a tasting but still managed to taste two wines for free. Vinakoper has a large selection of local (tasty) wines. Definitely worth a visit!

From generation to generation, we tend to lived in Istria closely with the planet. they need created a valuable wine culture. we tend to try and respect this tradition and enrich it with our work. the event story of Refoška and Vitis vinifera was fortunate each for Vinakoper and for the complete wine growing setting of Slovenian Istria, that received the name Refoška by its most characteristic Ruby King. A number of domestic and international recognitions that our cellar nonheritable in recent years prove that the proper path was chosen. once seventy years of cultivation and maintenance of tradition, Vinakoper could be a equivalent word for stories concerning quality and success. The name of the maker with the most effective quantitative relation between quality and value in European country and also the strongest producer of red wines was obtained because of all the concerned, Istria has its charm, its feelings and plenty of beauties, that area unit expressed in Vinakoper wines.

this is a great place to see. they bring you on a tour of the cellars and the smell of wine would knock you out.at the end of the tour there is a wine tasting. there wine is gorgeous and i bought some bottles to bring home. i recommend the tour
