This heritage site consists of a series of buildings which, from the 13th century, served as mills for Tomar. The mills used the water from the Nabao River to power the machinery which was primarily used for grinding grain into flour. They are being meticulously restored and, because the sit directly on the Nabao, they provided very nice photo opportunities.

Beautiful complex, industrial, suggestive, well maintained, a comfortable walkway to walk along the perimeter, you can stop without haste to admire the flowing water, all very pleasant.
