We booked a "tour" for 20 Euro per person. Captain Steve was friendly but that was about it. After arriving at the little island he showed us his favorite restaurant, asked us if we wanted to join him and that was it! We thought he will show and explain us the island....We spend some time on the beach and then... More

A wonderful fisherman village on a sand island! Steve has been a wonderful guide for the afternoon with funny anecdotes and a real love and respect for this region and people!

Captain Steve and his traditional fishing boat(maximum of 12 people) took us on a lovely afternoon trip on the Rio Formosa out of Olhau harbour to the island of Culatra where we saw the small settlement of fishermans cottages dedicated to a life at sea. Steves knowledge and enthusiasm was infectious as he took us on a guided tour around... More

We enjoyed a very relaxing steam around the Rui Formosa. The boat was a charming wooden fishing boat that seated 10 passengers and the captain and his "crew". It was a pleasant trip, with very agreeable company and an informative crew and included a stop for lunch and a paddle at Culatra island. It was a great afternoon, not least... More

We were visiting Olhao for the first time and were interested in taking a boat trip but my sister is extremely nervous of anything to do with water. We were discussing it over a coffee near the fish market when we were approached by Steve and after some persuasion we managed to convince my sister to take the trip that... More

Met steve on the quay side near to the Naval Club around 1 in the afternoon. Boarded the small traditional woodeen boat and took a leisurely motor across the lagune. Very relaxing. We got a great lunch at a restaurant on one of the small islands. (We paid for ourselves). The a short stroll around the island and motored back... More

We really enjoyed this boat trip to the various islands. The staff that took us there were really very nice, and helpful, they spoke excellent English. I would highly recommend this company.

Had a lovely day out with Steve and Katie, very informative about the local life and surrounding area. Had a nice lunch on Culatra Island and a quick tour around the village before going to Deserta Island for a walk to the Atlantic Ocean, or swimming, Kayaking or sunbathing, your choice. Got a bit wet coming back to Olhao because... More

Certainly a little trap but a very nice one. We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with Captain Steve and his other guests. Nice food at the restaurant and interesting information about the local lifestyle. For sure worth the money!
