One of the newest tourist landmark listed by the NCR tourism department of the Philippines situated at Marikina Metro Manila. A bakeshop, garden restaurant and a chessplaza, Pan de Amerikana is the only place where you can have a taste of the historical 1950's Filipino bread called the Pan Amerikano. Giant sized chess pieces compliments the Chessplaza situated at its colonnade patterned like the ruins of Italy

The nostalgic aesthetics and relaxed ambiance of the place will take you back decades ago to where vintage is prime! No doubt that every side of the restaurant is picture perfect. From the floor tiles to the ceiling, everything is well thought of. Service of the staff needs upgrading, but food selection and prices will never disappoint. Truly, a dining... More

We went here mainly because of the giant chess. It was a fine afternoon, the best time for making selfies & groupies since the place wasn't crowded. We stayed here for more than 2 hours and we were satisfied with the result from our smart phones. Originally, Pan de Amerikina was a bakery turned to restaurant. The food was just... More

Me and my husband usually go around our place in Marikina very early in the morning because we love to see the sunrise and feel the morning breeze because it is colder! And most of the time we end up having breakfast at Pan de Amerikana, to enjoy their unique place and delicious food! They offer a Museum-like ambiance with... More

If you are looking for a place to eat in the summertime, this is not the place to go. They don't have air conditioning at the restaurant only fans. Your eyes will feast because of the beautiful scenery while eating, they have a pond, a human size chess board and a "kalesa" inside the resto. Yes, that's how big the... More

Isinama lang ako ng isang kaibigan at kumain kami ng halo-halo dito.. masarap at madami at kumpleto ang sangkap.Maganda yung lugar dahil tahimik, kakaiba ang ambiance kumpara sa ibang restaurant. I also enjoyed here..i really like the decorations and old fashion style. Yung food okey lang naman.. mas gusto kong umupo dito at magtambay.. ang ganda kc ng lugar eh.

Pan de Amerikina, what can I say but wow. The place was so amazing it is like old Manila and this gives me a throw back moment. The ambience is so peaceful like your having a afternoon snack in a country side yet this place is located in the city. It also has enough space and tables to cater its... More

The breads are good to take out. But dining in is a risk because the place is not sanitized. There are rats all over and you can see them while dining. So conclusion is the place is not clean. Price of food is really affordable and they serve marikina delicacies and dishes.

Something peaceful, fine food and a perfect place to bond. That is what I think of Pan de Amerikana. I wouldn't believe that there are still some places left in the city that you will find to relax against its busy lifestyle. I like the concept of the place that shows a little bit of old Manila with a mix... More
