I've been to Kleinplassie 9 years ago and was having so much fun back then. Because of that I came back and was sad to see the condition of the museum now. The place looks like it's been neglected. The exhibition area is getting smaller,...More

I have lived in the area for 33 years and taken my children and many others to this once vibrant and fun interactive museum. Today, not having been there for about four years, I took my UK guest, and could have cried. Such neglect is...More

Not the best I have seen. It looks in need of some repair and a bit dated. There are no guided tours on a weekend. The entire tour took less than 30 minutes to complete.

Very nice. A must see when in the Breeds Valley area. The kids always enjoy going back especially the donkey car rides, train trip and animal feeding and time travel. We always end the day at the museum restaurant. The bobotie and chicken pie and...More

Four adults and one child visited. The museum was closed (on a Sunday); however after hearing that we had come from Australia, the gate keeper opened the gates and allowed in. With no guides, we undertook our own tour of the replica buildings and machinery...More

This place has the basis for a godd rural working museum but is let down by having little upkeep and staff that really care about it
