This vineyard was recommend to us for our holiday to Capetown. It was the most disappointing part of our visit. We traveled from the city specifically to sample their wines, but as we were late (5.20pm) they refused to serve us a wine sampling. As there were guests still being served on the terrace and in the restaurant, we asked... More

We were recommended this wine estate to visit by our hotel and we were very pleased they did. It is very luxurious in a lovely setting with fantastic views. The afternoon we visited was warm and sunny and it was a delight sitting outside enjoying the views and wine - could have stayed there much longer.

Over the top luxury everywhere you look. We did not find the wines special, very good, but not wines that really wow you. The tasting room, the restaurants, the whole experience does wow you however. The service is wonderful, we got an anniversary card from the restaurant staff at the end of our meal, very nice touch! This is a... More

On my first day in South Africa we went to Delaire Graff for a wine tasting. For our anniversary my boyfriend also took me to dinner. We tasted 5 wines (70 rand) and they were very tasty, but the dinner was the highlight of the day! The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. We choose the a... More

For some reason travel guides are very excited about Delaire Graff. I can see why, but I can't help but feel to have visited a fake wine empire. I have to admit the surroundings do look nice and the staff is really friendly. The Bali-like interior and the art has to be your taste, but is done with great care.... More

We stopped for lunch by chance really, the first winery we spotted on our tour of the wine route. The estate is simply breathtaking, really beautiful. We opted for a fairly simple lunch from their menu but it was quite superb, washed down with a glass of their spectacular special reserve cabernet sauvignon. I recommend this without any reservations. The... More

Where should we start... The beautiful drive up the stunning gardens with its impressive sculptures. The loving caring welcome as you would visit your friends house? The stunning accommodation with everything you wish for including sweeping views over the wine land? Indochine the intimate restaurant with the most wonderful food? It's that perfect experience which is so rare. Luxury without... More

Over priced, no attention to detail, poor service - I will not be coming back! A better option for a quarter of the price is Clouds Estate which is next door. Sat down for dinner at 18:30 in a quiet restaurant where the staff outnumbered the patrons....finally served my main course at 21:10! Needless to say I left before dessert!... More

We had the wine tasting on the veranda with beautiful sunny weather with a stunning view. Very relaxing and welcoming place - tranquil with no expense spared.
