Stunning, not to be missed!

The most impressive collection of wonderful art, concentrated on a few famous SA artists. Layout is beautiful, and it is a real pleasure to meander about.

We were recommended this place and we are glad we went. It was very quiet which was nice and the Pierneef station panels were wonderful. When they were in the station they must have been inspirational.

This is a must go to gallery to see the finest Pierneef collect of art ever seen. There are sculptures and paintings dating back to his first works and then taking you through the years of transformation.

the Rupert collection of many south african top artists and sculptors gives an insight to our rich heritage. I particularly love the Steynberg sculpture "The Accused" the collection of Kollowitz are great as well as the Station Panels by Piernief. No vosit is complete without acknowledging the powerful works of Irma Stern, one of South Africa's best known artists internationally.

It was a delight to visit this small but beautifully displayed museum filled with art work by some of South Africa's most important artists.

If you're near by, it's worth a visit. The art was varied and interesting. Most was of a very high standard and quality. The garden is nice too. Worth a 1 hour visit. Contrary to some other reviews, there's no car collection here (for that, visit Franschhoek Motor Museum).

From the oldest steam cars to ultra modern Ferraris & Mercedes McLarens there very little the real auto enthusiast will miss. The are just so many cars stored in the four showrooms which are all in top conditions and road worthy. The collection, owned by billionaire Johan Rupert, has a team of mechanics who make sure all the cars are... More
