One of those activities that you don't get in many places. They let you ride an ostrich but with max weight limit also the neck massage was unique and so was feeding. Didn't know that Ostrich leather is 3rd strongest in the world and egg shell can bear my weight - got to know that as well. An all-round 2-hours... More

The Cango Ostricj Farm was a wonderful excursion for our family! We had a wonderful guide and a lovely diverse international group.. The tour starts with complimentary tea/coffee which is always a win for me! We got to touch, hug, feed and ride the ostriches. It was informative without being boring and interactive without being unsafe. The shop at the... More

We visited as part of the Oudtshoorn experience. Cango Ostrich farm is a very well run establishment with great guides. Experienced ostriches close up, learned about their behaviour. The teenagers even rode on them and had an ostrich neck massage. The restaurant is great! Excellent food and very well priced. Well worth a visit.

The guided tour lasts about 30 minutes - we got to see the ostrich close up. Stand on an ostrich egg - does not break. Plus the option to ride an ostrich which we did not avail of since the ostrich runs quite fast and one can easily be thrown off.

The guide is very knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. This made the tour interesting and hilarious. The tour covers a variety of activities including riding an ostrich and getting a neck maasage.

Part of the day out after the Congo caves was to see and feed the ostriches, this was fun as they did not seem to mind our group. Some of the group had a neck massage where the keeper held a bucket of food in front of the volunteer, the birds then came over the persons head. We had lunch... More

Worth the stop if you have never been to one. Learned a lot, got to touch/pet them and if you weigh less than 70kg you can sit on one and if you can ride one if under 65kg's. Had ostrich steak there for lunch very good.

This is the fourth or the fifth time for me to visit this attraction, and I still enjoyed it. The tour guide was very informative, and there was a lot of personal interaction with the big birds. My grandson was enthralled with the Ostrich feeding, necking and riding. A definite must when in this area.

A fun couple hours downtown learning history and biology of ostriches. Excellent tour guide. Someone in my group rode the ostrich as well which I wasn't sure about. Interesting.

Had an amazing experience here! We touched them, fed them and Betsie (an Ostrich girl) even ate out of my Dad's mouth... Kissed him! Stressful for him, but very entertaining to the Russians next to us :-) The guide was EXCELLENT!!! Overall experience was very good and the food we had afterwards at the restaurant was very nice! Money well... More
