We called in when passing to somewhere else. The farm was like a little oasis. We had an ostrich walk which was absolutely brilliant, so interesting and told with real love and care for the birds. We decided to have a drink and cake as it was a bit early for lunch, the cheesecake was huge and delicious. The best bit was the friendly, wonderful people, they were all delightful.

We booked in here to as a stop off and to break our drive up. It was a lovely big apartment with plenty of space. There is load shedding in the area so be aware of power outages. The restaurant was nice we had a lovely meal and the staff were all lovely. It’s nice also see a few animals at the restaurant during our stay. I would say just double check what is included and not.

What an experience. You get the opportunity to bottle feed, Lucky, the baby giraffe. She’s so grateful and you’ll be amazed how quickly she drinks it. You can then feed her mum, Sheila with a branch. She devours it all. Experience unbelievably cheap but totally memorable
