It was a beautiful day to sit outdoors and taste wine and gin and have a bite to eat. Very freindly staff. Not a fancy place but delightful. Definitely worth considering.Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 13, 2024

I've been to Karusa previously and wanted to take friends. I was however met with a very poor reception per telephone.
Strictly based on that I will make it my mission to discourage anyone from going there. The individual on the telephone was simply put rude.
No effort at all was made to be polite or to offer any options to visit or accommodate myself and the guests.

Amazing private accommodation in the Vinyard. Flip's house is a stunning getaway for 2 with all the needed amenities for a memorable stay. Enjoy birdwatching, beutiful views of the Vinyard and the Schoemanskoek Valley during the day and gaze at the stars of the Little Karoo by nite. Enjoy a amazing lunch at the restaurant with an amazing wine selection or their own premium craft beer. Will definitely return.

As a family we visited Karusa and what a pleasant experience. Friendly welcoming staff, the freshest most delicious food - not even starting with the wine that is beyond amazing. A Play Area for the little ones, a big grass area for having a picnic. Definitely the Place to be when visiting Oudtshoorn.

An excellent outdoor seating area with fantastic food and some of the best craft beer I have ever tried. Menu is interesting and the quality of the food is simply great.

What a pleasure it was to visit Karusa. The wine tasting was great but the real star was the food. The Karusa platter was phenomenal. It was soooo tasty. The white grape juice is also delicious. Definitely worth a stop when in the area. Oh yeah, staff was super friendly.

Friends took us to lunch at Karusa winery recently. We had a lovely lunch with flat breads and excellent wine. Amazing view from the restaurant. The girls had a super sauvignon blanc and the gentlemen had some of their lovely beer. Everyone was delighted with their choices. It was really busy but the service was excellent with lovely smiling staff. Definitely on our list for our return to Buffelsdrift next year. thanks for a lovely lunch.
