Really good accommodation on the lake. Safe and secure parking. Plenty to do, hiking, shopping and great restaurants.

We did a cruise on the lagoon and it was very relaxing and interesting. The area was recently impacted by bushfires but they make a special effort to overcome these difficulties.

We took a wonderful paddle boat ride down the lagoon & had lunch on the boat. It was a beautiful trip with lovely scenery & lots of history. Unfortunately the Featherbed Nature Reserve had suffered a fire so we were not able to visit there...More

Definitely not to miss. Booked the boot cruise 'John Benn' through Featherbed Company. You will be able to see the islands "Leisure Isle" & "Thesen Island". Nice view of Knysna Heads and the mountains.

The lagoon has always been a treasure of the town. Fun to be on and loads of memories. The sad part is the parks around it like Cathy park & Green hole, constantly dirty. The walkways are untidy and the general upkeep leaves much to...More

... but a bit boring experience. The most exciting was to get a close view of the fire damages. Lots of nice houses on the lagoon. Impressing heads at the mouth of the lagoon. Hardly any waves.
