Takes about 40 minutes from Knysna and the last bit of the road is a little steep but we managed it a small car, Fab views from Plett to Kynsna - but make sure you go on a fine day,

If ever you were searching for a perfect picnic site Spitzkop will be it. Beautiful 360 view even on a overcast day like when we visited. The site is very well maintained and definately worth the trip and the gravel road.

We recently stopped off at Spitzkop viewpoint on our way from Knysna to Graaff Reinet. Although it was a fairly dull day, the views from up here were fantastic, with lots of birdlife and wild amaryllis and agapanthus in abundance. If you are passing you...More

I'm so pleased that we travelled along this little road while traversing the Prince Alfred Pass. Perfect views of Plettenberg Bay and Knysna and the Outeniqua Mountains.
