The walk follows over 1km of wooden board walks and bridges across streams and is entirely wheelchair friendly and ideal for the elderly wanting to visit the forest. There is a number of wooden benches and tables along the trail to sit, snack, picnic or enjoy your 'padkos'. Water and ablution facilities.

After the drive from Cape Town, it was refreshing to spend some time in nature. What a lovely walk through one of the most beautiful forests with all the big ferns and bird life.

We stopped on our way to Plettenberg bay. The facility is very well maintained and the reception staff very friendly. The walk into the forest on wooden pathways is quick and very relaxing. There are plenty of educational material about the trees and the forest.

This is a must see. So peaceful to walk on the wooden trails and feel the forest around you, hear the loeries sing their song and be thankful that this was granted for you.

Had a walk through the forest on wooden pathways. Interesting to see all different types of birds and trees. Very relaxing to break away from the busy lifestyle

This was nice to do as it is a very easy walk and therefore suitable for young children and the elderly. It doesn't take long either, maybe 45 mins. Its cool as you are shaded by the trees, and it is a mostly flat walk...More
