Brenton-on-Sea is great for walking and sunbathing and is popular with paragliders. A big rock formation, castle Rock, is a favourite fishing spot for locals. Swimming is dangerous because of rip currents.

Leading to this small beach resort is a short drive from Knysna with wonderful views. It's a beautiful beach. Plenty of parking, lots of seats on the top to look at the views. A long walk down to the beach with steps but manageable with handrails. The beach is long, plenty of sand to walk along, even in February the... More

Unspoilt little place outside Knysna. Lovely drive with fabulous views over the lagoon. Quite a steep walk down to a beautiful beach but well worth it . Nice place for a picnic

Plenty of parking, a steep walk down on a good pathway to the beach. Definatly worth going to. Beautiful sand with interesting rocks and pools. The deli at the top of the path is worth visiting as there are no refreshments on the beach.

This small seaside resort is a short distance from Knysna takes about twenty minutes. It's a beautiful beach with the rollers pounding in even on a calm day. A good walk along the beach blows the cobwebs away, but even in February the sea is not warm, but there are plenty of people enjoying the breaking waves. There are areas... More

A gorgeous beach with a easy walk down a path to gain access to the beach. Toilets available and parking is available at the top. We saw black oystercatchers eating mussels on the rocks in the bay and discovered surfing snails in the sand. A seriously beautiful sandy beach. Hotel at the top can provide drinks and eats if required... More
