This is a very scenic place. It is also very dangerous as Lloyds of London will not insure any boats passing through!

Really worth the long drive to see the fabulous views. Whilst we were searching for whales out to sea, were privileged to have a couple of falcons circle around us

Beautiful place. Most reviews miss out that eastern head this is not a very long activity. It's just 3 viewpoints you can easily cover in 1 hour ( including driving time) . Prolong the pleasure and stop at east head cafe for a meal. It's divine!! Western heads requires about 3-4 hours - ferry hike and all put together. We... More

We were both up on the cliffs and down on the beach? beneath the Stops and it was really nice. Not for the movement impaired.

We were staying at the Augusta Bay hotel and drove up to the top which has amazing views across the lagoon and out to sea. Also then drop down o Coney Glen Beach which is also amazing and well worth a visit. We were there in November and it was quiet but this may be because it's off the beaten... More

We went up to the Kysna heads lookout point on Leisure Isle...breathtaking views!! We also went on a sunset cruise which goes past the heads, which was great. We saw dolphins and seals which were too happy to see us and played for us;)

The Knysna Heads are almost what makes Knysna special. The heads enclose the lagoon which is integral to Knysna's identity and "raison d'etre" and the omnipresent spectacle of the imposing scenery makes this a MUST DO stop on the Garden Route. If you see the heads, get out and walk. A good minimum time to have "just enough" time to... More

If you are in the area, the weather is bright and sunny with clear sky's then this place is worth a run out to. The views are lovely, also the cafe at the bottom of the hill is very nice for lunch..

It was fun to be onboard a katamaran that rounded the Heads. Very skilful skipper - I would not have been able to sail here myself!
