We saw Kynsna Heads for the first time on a wild, windswept and rainy day. The waves were enormous and reminded us of our home county in UK. Views are stunning. I'd recommend wearing decent shoes as the pathway is a bit rough in places. We'll definitely return on our next visit.

We had drinks overlooking the heads at one of the little coffee shops and admittedly the coffee tasted better with the view. The atmosphere is so relaxed that u find yourself reluctant to leave. Walking shoes is advisable as you want to potter around and definitely amble down to the waters edge. Always a good place to end the evening..

My fiance stopped here as soon as we got to Knysna. The most beautiful views available from various view points. Knysna is amazing!

Parking spot where the road ends and head to the water, make your way along the cliff edge during low tide to be treated to spectacular views

It's a must when in Knysna. You can even spend hours and hours here watching the beautiful Knysna lagoon. There are 3 view points from where you can go and click pictures. Probably the most beautiful city in South Africa.

Wow! You board a ferry at the harbor (near Dry Dock restaurant) and enjoy a 30 minute or so ride to a dock near the heads. Then, up to the top of the cliffs via tram. Great views on the way up, but the hike down! OMG.... this takes about 90 minutes, but is not a vigorous hike. You are... More

This must be my 6th or 7th visit to the heads, and every time I am in awe. This time I had some friends from China with us and they were totally smitten by the beauty of The Heads. A definite must see.

Really beautiful. A view that can't be described. Take your walking shoes though. Small parking lot but attended busy car guards, official (red shirts) and unofficial. They are all helpful.
