The view is breathtaking. Must travel during the day. I also tried the segway tour which was great fun.

Beautiful scenic drive all along the way from Knysna. Magnificent scenery especially when hiking between restaurant and suspension bridge where Storm River meets the ocean. Walk across the suspension bridge and enjoy that funny sensation. Enjoy the bliss and sound of the wild waves crushing against the beautifully layered rocks underneath the bridge.

We loved the time we spent at Tsitsikamma as we were driving towards Knysna. To teach the suspension bridge you have to walk 2 km but what no one mentioned is that it is nearly all stairs going up and then down and then up and then down. It was a beautiful sunny day and we loved our time in... More

It was quite a challenge driving the Garden Route in SA. Not only is the driver on the right, but we encountered cows, people, bulls, goats, warthogs, baboons and sheep on the road. The scenery is outstanding.

I was on a four days garden route tour, we had four individual travellers in the tour who all agreed that this route along with all the attractions are way too overrated, especially when we all came back from various overlanding tour from other parts of Africa. The scenery along the main road are really average, mostly passing through forest... More

The garden Route between CT and PE is one South Africa's best tourist attractions. The most interesting part of this route is between Mossel Bay and Humansdorp. Plan for sightseeing stops.

Walking through the trail was like walking through a forest. It was easy climb in most places except at the steps. Excellent view of the lagoon and the place where the Storm river meets the sea is gorgeous.

A proper small town littered with shops and service stations and reasonable accommodation, nothing in the luxury up market but comfortable and clean, and like everything else in life, the more you pay the better the accommodation ! The towns locals are awesome and friendly and always ready to help There are plenty of nearby towns and attractions if you... More

On the Garden Route this was a good coffee stop. Plenty of choice in the cafe and the best toilets I've seen in South Africa. They want you to buy their aloe products but there is no obligation to do so. Prices seemed reasonable and reportedly lower than in Cape Town.
