My sister and I visited on a Quiet Sunday afternoon. The server seemed very bored and disinterested and repeated everything by rote but we couldnt fault the wines and chocolate and still enjoyed the actual pairing experience apart from the server who really could show some enthusiasm for her job.

Came here on the wine hopper. Had the wine and chocolate pairing tasting which was excellent. However rarely seen 2 more disinterested servers at a wine tasting who had zero interaction with guests and looked happier looking at their computer screens rather serving the wine. When their credit card machine wouldn’t work, tempted to say had no cash.

Got there requested a wine tasting and was turned away as they had a booked table. Never in my life at all the places I have been have i been turned away at a tasting. Normally they make a plan or ask you to wait and offer a glass of wine. Very unprofessional. Will never go back and will certainly never buy their wines. Will certainly also advise my friends and family not to bother either

On a rainy, cold day, we decided to do a wine tasting at Whalehaven Winery. We truly enjoyed the experience. The wine paired with chocolate was fantastic! There will definitely be a next time and we'll have to try the wine & jam pairing... our server was very kind & generous & we enjoyed her company for the short time we were there. I would recommend this to anyone who loves wine & chocolate!

This small wine farm battles against the scenic farms but the staff are friendly and informative. The wines lovely and please don't give it a miss just because it's by the main road into Hermanus.
