Hermanus is a small place along the beaxh, and the Grotto beach is its cwntral point. You cannot miss it, and it is right below the Parking. Great Ocean veiws, and two romantic cannons. What else do we need to start exploring Hermus?!

A blue flag beach in town and it does its proud reputation good. Clean beach with nice white sands to walk on. Shower facilities also available.

Why are the Cannons facing the city. I was told that the meaning of this is to inform the visitors that people at Hermanus are friendly people which I can testify on that during my visit just this June 2018.

It is extraordinarily busy, but always worth a visit. If you are happy to walk a bit, it is a superb beach
