A beautiful day of excitement and pleasure with a trip though the beautiful Outeniqua mountains. Experience nature from a different perspective. Had an awesome picnic stop on the way down. Will definitely do it again

I went with my wife, we thoroughly enjoyed, the track wasn't completely finished but the duration was perfect, stopping for lunch was great touch.

We were at the transport museum and decided to take the OPV to Groot Brak River. Now I understand that it is nowhere close to as nice as the "normal" route into the mountains, but it is still pleasurable and fun. The staff on the power van was friendly and informative. Overall the OPV was a quirky yet fun experience.

What an experience. We took the Power Van to Grootbrak River due to the tracks being damaged on the mountains. What an experience. The tourleader lady has so much knowledge on the area and mountains. The nature, scenary and mountains are stuniing. The Van goes slower for photo opportunities by Maalgate, stunning. This cant be seen when driving on the roads. I would recommend this to all Garden Route visitors. What I can suggest to the owner of this excursion is pensioners discount.

I love travelling by train because it takes you places in the countryside where cars cannot go. The OVP departs from the Transport Museum and goes through George Station pass houses and farms. It then goes over the Gwaing river and Maalgate bridge. It then goes high above the Town of Glentana and stops at Great Brak River station. We were told that we had .5 hour before departure from Great Brak River, which was a bit to short to enjoy a meal at the Oppiespoor restaurant. I enjoyed the rest of my waffle on the return journey. I would like to do the original route into the Outeniqua mountains when the track has been repaired.
