The Constantia wine route is the best option of all the Cape Town routes. It is better than either Stellenbosch, Paarl or Franschhoek.

We stayed for six days in mid March. This lovely boutique hotel/B&B was perfect for a week trip to Cape Town. Constantia is a beautiful suburb of Cape Town and is very handy for visiting the many upmarket vineyards ofConstantia.

I love the Constantia Valley. There are several excellent wineries to visit and they all have restaurants including my favourite restaurant in Cape Town - Chef's Warehouse at Beau Constantia. And it's beautiful simply driving around exploring and taking in the views.
