We did not know which Constantia Glen wines to buy from the shop, so did the tasting: 4 wines for Rd 80. We particularly liked the Two and Three varities. Accompanied by a south african platter (bobotie, biltong, wors, bread and fishpate) is made for...More

Once again one of our repeat winery visits. We keep coming back here. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the wines are great, but the view from the terrace makes it exceptional. A very good wine pairing, scenic views and wine.

Lunch was poor. Smoked trout platter, enough trout to feed a child maybe but tasty. Semi-unbaked bread, hummus which tasted thin with no hint of its Middle Eastern origins. Pickled gherkin so acidic to be inedible (returned to kitchen to be told chef didn’t make...More

We went for a drink at Constantie Glen. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings. Great staff. Too bad that it is only open till 20.00 hours (as are may other restaurants on estates).

Unfortunately we came shortly before they were closing but they still made it a great experience. We had a great wine testing and enjoyed the location and the look over the country side. The estate is run by Austrians and they do one wine together...More
