Very nice town

Very nice place to visit. Beautiful beach and nice restaurants. If you ever around that area, you must see the lighthouse.

Great exercise with the most rewarding views at the top. Best to go in groups and a stock of water to stay hydrated.

You haven't been in mother country if you don't climb some mountains :). THere is an option to either hike or take the easy way by transportation

Great hike and views as the reward, fairly comfortable start for hike but gets a little steeper near the top. At the top you get a perfect view of all parts of Cape Town which is one of the prettiest cities in the world. Weather can change very quickly so I'm back pack make sure you have jacket and lots... Fabulous little hike. We liked it so much we woke up early to do it a second time on our last day. Circling around the mountain ensures amazing views for the entire route. And the “chains” route with a couple of ladders and two or three spots where you climb up using metal handholds and chains is delightful. We hadn’t... More

It is a good hike to the top and the view is worth the effort. There are some chains and step ladders to help with the difficult parts but the climb is not too hard. The climb can be dangerous, so don't take risks as their have been multiple deaths and injuries. Also do not attempt this alone, take a... More

We did a sunset hike on a relatively clear day/evening and it was INCREDIBLE. Honestly the view was better than Table Mountain because you could see over both sides (Sea Point on one side and City Centre on the other). Sunset was at 5:50ish and we started hiking at 4:15 at a medium pace and we made it with about... More

Decided to climb to the top on a whim without doing any research. It's not that easy! And I've done a few actual summit climbs (eg. Mt Rinjani, Mt Kinabalu) before. It only takes a few hours but the last half an hour gets pretty steep, tricky and easy to lose your footing. It was a clear sunny day but... More

Excellent view of the surroundings and a good atmosphere. You can take a trip on cable car or a long climb up which needs a real stamina
