Such a stunning hike! The path is well kept and the sunsets are incredible. Definitely a must for any one who visits Cape Town. Just don't be like me and take water with you.

If you are looking for a morning or afternoon hike that is not too strenuous this is a great hike. You will get to see great views of Cape Town and surrounding areas. Always a blessing to do this hike and see the beauty of our country. Great for the adventure tourist.

It was a fairly easy hike up to the top (almost to the top) . The last part you had to climb up the cliffs which was pretty hard but worth it in the end! Perfect view of Cape Town and Table mountain.

Lion's head will give you breathtaking views and the feeling to be very small in this amazing world or just to Cape Town ;) . I suggest the next travellers to walk at Lion s... More

I've been up Lion's Head many times, because it really is amazing. Sunset, sunrise, cloudy or sunny - every time I go up is a unique experience. It's a short walk up (and good exercise), with some climbing on ladders and chains which is fixed to the mountain. Pick some snacks and enjoy a lovely picnic at the top, since... More

Views from the top are absolutely breathtaking. Despite being a popular hiking trail or tourist hotspot, its still well worth the hike. Sunrise hike is by far the best.

We climbed this on a weekend so there would be lots of other people around because we were a bit spooked about warnings of being attacked with only 2 of us. Lots of people and very spectacular views. Sometimes a bit nervous about possibility of slipping. A person we know who lives near this says he often sees helicopters near... More

It is necessary to go at the too of Lions if you are at Cape Town. It's a perfect mix between adventure and nice sights. It will not be easy to get the top, but is worth it.
