The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans surrounding the southern African coast. Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to sea turtles and shoals of shimmering fish, the Aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Come face-to-face with giant spider grabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Ocean Exhibit, with its 9m long window, and 10m long full tunnel. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive in this exhibit with shoals of fish and turtles. The Jelly gallery is sure to mesmerize and enthral.

Not normally my thing, but as it was raining made a visit and I must say it proved to be very pleasurable, if only to see the Penguins. The Divers feeding the fish in the massive tank takes place at 12.00 hours so get there at 11.45 hours to get a seat. Very pleasant and informative morning.

When we went, all of the largest exhibits were closed. The rest available was not worth the price. A bit disappointed.

The Aquaruim was clean, staff were friendly. I was a little disappointed, with the kelp area, i was there about 15 odd years ago. I remember loads of kelp, and just sitting there on the seats listening to the tranquil music and watching the kelp wave in the ocean. Now there is hardly any kelp there and there are so... More

Nice Aquarium, especially if you haven't been to an aquarium before. The Durban uShaka aquarium is much a much better experience if you in the area with lots of activities like seal interactions, dolphin shows, etc...

Entertaining, informative and definitively a Cape Town must see for all ages. Spend some time with the seals if only to enjoy the squeals of delight that remind one how to view the world through a child's eyes.

The place is nice but not outside of box or something exciting. You may see much nicer and bigger aquariums. This one is kind of avarage on size and quality of species. Good as rainy day activity.

Well thought out design with nice viewing of a variety of fish. Jelly fish exhibit was very good. A touch pool also available. Good walk though with sting rays sharks turtles and many fish at close range. Inexpensive and only takes about half hour worth the time. Enjoy. Nice to see fish from Indian and Atlantic oceans. Walking distance from... More
