Overview
More
The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans surrounding the southern African coast. Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to sea turtles and shoals of shimmering fish, the aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Come face-to-face with giant spider crabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Ocean Exhibit, with its 9m long window, and 10m long full tunnel. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive in this exhibit with shoals of fish and turtles. The Jelly gallery is sure to mesmerize and enthrall.

Definately a must for every person visiting Cape Town. The glass tunnel where you can walk anderneath the sharks and other fish was amazing. Staff is friendly and place is very neat

First I thought I had come to a childrens activity and that I would run the place through as fast as I could. However, the different sea creatures were displayed in a very interesting way. They had sharks and penguins too. I ended up taking...More

One of the best things to do on a rainy day with kids. Get there early. It gets busy. Nice food market next door.

When visiting a city I've never been to before, I never fail to visit their aquarium. The one in Cape Town certainly has to rate amongst the top three in the world. It's a child's magnet, and equally attractive to any adult. Bucket list stuff!

If you like aquariums, you'll like this one. It is on the small side, but still has plenty to see. There are two good sized penguin areas on the second floor. Check times for the penguin feeding.

Visited Aquarium after absence of a year and a lot had changed. New "glass tunnel" is great and watched the feeding of the sharks. You can easily spend an hour or a couple of hours depending on your interest and forget about Cape Town outside....More

Best place to take the family for educational experience. Great displays with touch pool for education. Also a great job shadow experience for gr11 wanting to study in the marine life.

We arrived in Cape Town in the midst of torrential downpour of rain so we decided to go to the aquarium. Great place to go but we unfortunately went on school trip day so it was quite busy. Can’t knock it for that though. Must...More

As a result of the Robben Island ferry trip being cancelled, I decided to visit this aquarium to pass the time. It is quite small and the fish on show were rather unremarkable. There were few interactive exhibits for the children to do and the...More

Hi. We paid at the door as we hadn't planned to go. The info page gives on-line prices, but there doesn't appear to be a family ticket. You are not permitted to put links into answers; I tried! However, I typed in Two Oceans... More

You need to log onto the Aquarium Facebook page on your computer, not mobile. Like the page and you will see the Been There TV button. Click on that and search for your photos according to date and time.
